I'm torn on set retirement, so I'll go with "C" for that one. I'm pretty gung-ho about AoD so I'll have to say "D".

While I do not appreciate losing the lion's share of my collection (DA) I do know and appreciate the reasons for retirement. I just hope they are copying M:TG in that they will not retire sets until the new base set comes out. With the 7th set being a new base set hopefully they will not accelerate that.

I wonder if anyone's realized that the units of older sets become worthless for trade-fodder even before retirement. Everyone already who's been around already has most of the DA set, and newbies want the shiney new figures, not ones from over a year old boosters.


I'd snatch up all this supposedly worthless DA if I didn't have all I needed from the set already - I'm sure many people would do the same.

I figured that out nearly a year ago when they released mk 2.0. I dropped my whole MW collection while it was still worth cash on e-bay! Now Im just waiting on my case of Aod boosters so I can see what I really need from Falcons Prey, Counter Assault and Liao Incursion.... maybe I'll buy some older stuff again when the boosters go for $.50 but I only have so much storage space ;)

B, B, Not that it matters much, I'm already gone. Managed to sell off most of my collection just after CA hit the shelves. I have the patience for CBT, and it's just a better game all the way around for someone with said patience. Oh well, made enough of a profit to buy myself a new computer. But I'm not coming back. May just pick up the AOD starter to goof around with, but I'll never buy figs like I used to. (By the case)

1) B, Just because money is tight for me, and I cant really afford to have half of my collection nullified.

2)B, again, just because it's too much financially for me to have to buy a whole bunch of boosters. I'll probably buy the starter and a few boosters, and unless I REALLY like it I'm out of MW.
