would've been worse to have a card that was worded the way it's worded so that you don't end up with infinite resources, and truly wasn't intended to be used more than once per turn in the first place, running amok and destroying something they've been pushing - off curve is not nearly so prevalent as to deserve a hoser as good as "adam as printed." - and, even though rule 505.1a DOESNT apply here, it *feels* like it should - reveal and then KO should take place at the same time.
I can't understand why people are complaining. The card went from obscenely overpowered to balanced and still fairly decent, which is how it was intended to work. If you could shoot as many 1-drops as you pleased every turn it would be so bad for the game. This isn't YGO, one-sided board destruction is not a good thing.
I don't think it needed the 'Once per turn' limitation.
I think it would have been strong (but not broken) to allow it to keep being used until it succeeded. With the 'If he is in the resource row, KO the target' limitation it could still only kill one 1 drop.
Still, its better this way than the way it was. It is still playable and should be as useful as Roy Harper has been.
He's still up there with M&M as top 1 drop control. Now he's ballanced. Do you realy want to KO their bord or that critical 1 drop (i.e. Chomin, Alfred, IW, Joystick... ) It wont win you all weenie matches by itself now but will help you make a run for it. You can still recur him with Swamp for those running it.
Take it in a weenie player's perspective: Was it 'fair' to be loosing to every deck running EomE?

He's well balanced.
But no longer very interesting, or a major threat, and that's disappointing.

I don't think anyone is complaining, but it certainly is disappointing to see a powerful effect reduced.
Forget YuGiOh (since I don't like it and don't play it). Magic has been very successful with powerful effects, and Vs doesn't have enough of those...for me, anyway.
Remembering YuGiOh (which again, I don't know), aren't the major problems there stuff like Rageki, which unilaterally destroys your opponent's guys? I don't think that's a good idea, but a character limited to 1 drops is different. I'd like to see effects that players should be afraid of in the game.
Put it this way. If he's gonna be reduced to Once per turn thats fine. But it would be alot more worth while for his effect to be in the Combat phase like M&M.
Once per turn in the recovery phase on turn 3 at the earliest (with EOME search) is plain pointless. 1 of Oliver Queen is probably still better.
As it stands this card is too restrictive now. But it wont be changed further so is another jank rare.
I did'nt read the whole thread so someone probably beat me to it, but if Adam strange needs to be errata'd it's because on the card he's flying with a jetpack and holding a laser rifle, but the card has no Flight or Range.
