i liked Dark Victory better... and i needed an "average" story most people would know. would you say Long Halloween was better than Killing Joke or Dark Knight?

Well, I'd say DKR is as good as KJ, which bumps LH up to four stars.
I don't read enough Batman to know any "average" stories.

i just meant average in my opinion and yeah, most people don't share that view. oh, have you seen the recolored and redrawn deluxe edition of Killing Joke? it's like a whole new book.
I just don’t get this comic. IDW isn’t some half-assed publisher. They’re the guys that have been putting out quality 30 Days of Night books for years. I don’t understand how something as horrendously put together as Angel After the Fall can be published by IDW.
I’ve been wanting to write up full reviews of a bunch of stuff, but I keep getting side tracked. So I’m going the mini review route to catch myself up a bit.

ZOMG! Welcome back to Part 5 of Billy & Mandy’s weekly review of Y: The Last Man. In this installment, we’ll be commenting on issues 49-59, the fourth year of the series. Oh, what about issue 60? We’ll get to that. WARNING: SPOILERS!!! If you don’t want to be spoiled, please read the issues before continuing. Or, read them along with us! We welcome your comments and hope that you enjoy the show.
Recent Claremont or 70s Claremont? Or do you not differentiate?
<-- enjoys the ratings scales more than the write-ups. :P
It's all one long run on the X-Men to me. I'm sure Claremont was writing X-fanfic in his basement between the time they kicked him off the books in the 70's and he forced his way back on in the 90's.
There's a city named Claremont about 15 minutes from where I live... it sucks too.

Galactus the Devourer was one of those weird mini-series that seemed to be in continuity at the time, but over time, fell by the wayside. With Louise Simonson and Bill Sienkiewicz attached, you’d think it was a no-brainer. You’d be wrong…
Every now and again, a comic book comes along that completely takes you by surprise. It shows you something you didn’t know you were missing from the crack habit that is comic collecting. Recently, for me, that comic was Dan Dare by Garth Ennis and Gary Erskine.
THE PO-MO PARTY’S OVER! Welcome to the final edition of Billy & Mandy’s weekly review of Y: The Last Man. This is it, our thoughts on the final chapter of the epic tale of a boy and his monkey. WARNING: SPOILERS!!! If you don’t know what that means by now… we’re giving it all away for free. So if you don’t want to know, stop reading NOW. We welcome your comments and hope that you enjoy the program.

now, i love comics. that should be said. but i dont interact with enough comics fans that disagree with me. people can dislike civil war all they want and i see where they are coming from but in the end, i enjoyed reaing it. BUT (and i dont know what the consensus is on this) how can anyone argue world war hulk was anything except the worst mini, worst crossover, worst piece of fiction ever created?
now if WWHs general awfullness is common knowledge then this was a waste of a post so feel free to ignore but i would really like to know other peoples view on this.
I loved World War Hulk. The only thing I really didn't like was that they let the Illuminati off the hook for one important thing, but other than that, it was amazing. Why did you not like it? I don't know why you don't like it, so I can't agree or disagree with your viewpoints. I loved WWh because, well, Planet Hulk was so good and it really showed Hulk at his best. His fights against everybody were awesome and the Illuminati got the crap kicked out of them for a good amount of time (which was awesome).
