Also Ted Mosby keeps calling Robin Aunt Robin to his kids...does Ted marry Robin's sister or something? :s

Could be a hint they've been using in long form, but traditionally, a lot of people call close family friends Uncle and Aunt, even if they aren't related.

I had the worst of that though, I have a half-brother older than my mom that I used to call Uncle Gary, cause I thought he was actually my Uncle.

Well they call Barney Uncle Barney so that would have to mean him and Robin end up married then :s. Unless Barney has a sister we don't know about or Ted ends up being gay and married Barney's brother, who is already married. Though I guess it would be how I met your father not how I met your mother.
