thought Sun Boy s first appearance was before Human Torch debuted in 1963, with Fantastic Four? Think that Sun Boy was in 1961 or 1962? so that Human Torch should be a "2nd rate Sun Boy"?
But then you have to consider the original Human Torch. I just don't consider any Legion member to be second rate.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.

oh that!! ooops I completely forgot about the Invaders' Human Torch...shame on me, because I used to read the Invaders when I was little. gosh. 32 years later - I forgot about him.
I use a rookie Ray for Sun Boy along with a repaint of Starfox...
But I would still prefer him to Red Bee. :/
now now...thanks to you...I have an extra Starfox figure and I don't know who to mod him so...now you have given me an idea...this will be my 2nd Sun Boy...I have the first one modded done - using the Banshees head and Clobberin' Time Human Torch body. I can paint the one that Sun Boy is currently wearing now in the Legion book. perfect!
I absolutely LOVE both the Legion and The All Star Squadron. And as much as it pains me to say this....The All *'s are badly represented in clix. Robotman, Johnny Quick, Hourman...the list goes on and on. The Legion got a whole starter. Sure, Blok, Tellus, Sun Boy, Star Boy, etc would be great too.
Heck, I would buy a set of either! F the Watchmen box! Gimme a Legion or A*S Box!
I'm not saying I wouldn't, but at least some of are getting made in this set. Unless this set list is wrong, then it's two DC sets in a row without one.

I used to use LE Shiro Yoshido to Thunderbolt him to whatever I wanted the Legion to share. Now that that no longer an option, I may have to switch to a Johnny dial to go with the Ben as Blok one(I already use Banshee for Tyroc, and Colossus for Ferro Lad, so I don't need the X-Men TA, but a clix of healing when one of the bricks get ko'ed would be nice, especially when coupled with their Alt TA).

@ Troma,
At the time of the writing, Mr. Freeze had only been used spurratically in the comics (I believe he had maybe four appearances since his re-appearance in the early 60's) and hadn't been in the comics in about four years (not since Batman 400 in 1986) from the date of the Animal Man limbo story (#25). But it was the Batman Animated Series that not only gave Freeze a true identity as well as put him back on the A-list of Bat-villains (well, B-list at least) which eventually led to him being used in the Batman & Robin movie.
@ the rest of you,
The Red Bee last appeared in Starman #37 as a member of David Knight's Afterlife Dinner Party. According to that story, the Red Bee was dead. Unless he popped back in Darkest Night, I don't think he's coming back.

it's the perfect pose and costume. It's like he was made to be modded into Sun Boy, with the classic "arms up" pose and everything.

The Jokermobile (brave and the Bold) and Ace were in the Brave and the Bold
Dog-stars (or whatever they were called) Along with Ace came back in Krypto

Not intending to beat this to death, but Johnny Storm Human Torch debuted in Nov. 1961. Jim Hammond Human Torch debuted Oct./Nov. 1939. Sun Boy was May 1961. No one's a second-rate anything. We can all play together!
