Indeed. The rookie is the most functional to play, and worth the 85 points of you can use the JSA TA to keep him from getting hit too much. But at more than 200 points, the Vet is waaaaaaaaaaaaay overcosted, perhaps the most bloated point cost of any figure in Origin. He's practically unusable.

Oh, it definitely looks like it. It seems like a "first appearance" Alan, which probably means it'll be a rookie interpretation. As awesome as that is, I'd prefer a contemporary, "I Am Willpower" Alan.

Just thought about it : we now know most of the figures, but it would have been cool to see the 5 missing Brightest day 'resurrected' (with the keyword) in the set, to complement the BD starter.
I.e. : Hawkman, Jade, Professor Zoom, Maxwell Lord and Hawk...

Well I would say at least Max (never done) and Hawk (long ago made) seem locks (and if we dont get Max I will be so pissed that he was not in the BN starter and J'onn was)
Zoom, Jade and Hawkman not so sure but they very could be here

I am still betting on getting all 5. We don't even know half of them yet actually.

Also, Jade is long overdue. Not as long as John Stewart, but the one we have is not very good anymore.

I hope so. I new Professor Zoom (Eobard Thawne) and Hawkman would greatly increase my anticipation for DC75th.
