Yes, I like the concept, but I hated the execution.

Ultron store is up...not LLs, intro store with Loki and Magneto.
I think I will probably pass now and wait for him to hit the LLs.
I am at exactly 200 pulls now.
46 days until the guy after Ultron should hit the LLs.
At 3 pulls per day I am looking at 338 pulls by then.
So I figure that I have some excess wiggle room with which to play.
Loki and Mags do not grab my attention much, so if ibwait to hit the LLs when Ulton drops in, then I am looking at Odin, Shang-Chi, and Ultron in there. That is more attractive to me since Odin and SC are not yet champed. If I get covers for them before I get an Ultron, then they are usable in a better way than Loki and Mags.

AS you alll know we are having an alliance event now. Usually it is 2 LTs and some CP sprinkled in. The big question to Harpua and NBperp is do alliance events increase pull rates compared to a regular PVE? I would think so.

What do you mean "increase pull rates?" If you're asking if I'm maintaining my average of 3LTs per day (either in tokens or CP), then I think so, yeah. I think I get a bunch more CP during an alliance event than I would from a normal PVE.

But if you're asking if the pull rate from the release store is better than other stores, my answer is "I dunno, it's been a while since I've pulled from it." Ultron will be in the regular legendary store before he's essential so I have no need to rush to get him now. Not unless at least one of the other toons in the store was one that I needed to finish champing all my 5*s (something I'm well on my way to doing now that Killmonger has a feeder)

I would guess that it improves...or it doesn't.
I honestly think it depends on the featured toons and where one has them.
Three Kate covers will nab me 2x 8CP and some ISO for her levels. Higher up she could go 2x 25CP. Lower levels and she wouldn't get that much.

The boss events don't get you nearly as much swag, but what you do get is better swag.
When the boss events are happening, you are missing out on tons of tokens, but you pull in four 4* covers and two LLs.
It is probably a balanced trade off.

How it impacts the pulls earned per day...no idea.
I suppose I can look at how many pulls I have after the event ends.and figure out the rate I got during the event.

No. In a boss event, you're earning a lot more 1x CP from boss hits, but the progression rewards have no CP in it. Now, they DO have an LT in it, but the PVE SCL10 progression rewards typically have well more than 25CP, so that tips the scale as far as I'm concerned.

I don't agree with Harpua that four 4* covers makes up for that. Off the top of my head, I know that progression rewards have at least 2 covers in them (between covers and shards), so you're not THAT much ahead, cover-wise.

That said, I love boss events. There is so much match-3 that I play each day that ANYTHING that spices it up increases my endorphins when I play. It's why I like puzzle gauntlet, even when it's the crappy Tug-Of-War versions.

Just did a rough count during this round of cosmic chaos. Assuming one would do all nodes to make progression and make top 50

PVE
6 CP per day completing all nodes
34 CP complete progression
If it is a 3 day or 4 day event with no 48 hour subs it would be 52CP and 58 CP respectively

Alliance Event
2 LTs
3 CP @ rounds 5 - 8 = 12 CP
~2 CP for rounds 1-4 = 8 CP

TO be technical but not totally accurate. If you figure the LTs to be 50CP then you are earning about 70 CP for the alliance event. However, one would also have to consider all the other prizes during said events to really see if it evens out.

Cosmic Chaos is difficult. Deadpool vs MPQ and Simulator is dreadful because there are no goons so it is a long slog.

I used up all of my health packs going for SCL 10. IT was tough, but I was stubborn and wanted to win with one team (juggy, Polaris, Grocket) when I could have beat it easily with another (Polaris, BRB, and Thanos or required character)

There is talk on reddit that there is no announcement about the Anniversary LT store because it was Kitty Apoc and 5trange as mentioned earlier and they are changing it because of the internet uproar. Take with as much salt as you please.

Yah, just after I registered, I saw the warning on Reddit that this is one where you probably wanted to dial it down.

So, okay, not going to place or progress well this time around. My roster's getting stronger, starting to recruit 4*, I'll build up to it.

Just be sure to cross reference the prizes you get in six versus what you would have gotten with your expected placement in 5.
Factor in your progression as well as node rewards.
I suspect that you will find that you still come out ahead with a worse placement in 6 than you do with a better one in 5.
