As we are going to be playing a number of games together, I think we should introduce ourselves a bit. I know and have played with most of you, but there are three here that I don't know (Antipathy, Peers, The Vision).
My name is Gary Mohnsen, I live in Roanoke, VA and have been playing Heroclix since Infinity Challenge. It's a great game and I love the simplicity of the rules and yet it can have somewhat deep strategy. In the last two years, I've gotten married and had a daughter last November (wife/daughter pic). That has seriously cut into my HC playing time, so most of the time I can only play online. I have recently had loads of fun playing in a couple of the Crisis floor events winning with a JLA team and a Teen Titans team just last week.
This looks like its going to be fun and good luck to all!
My name is Ian Parmenter, three-season (well, two full) veteran of the HCRealms Fantasy League, currently in Fargo, ND. I've played since Infinity Challenge, stopped at Xplosion (or was it Clobberin' Time?), then picked back up again just before Collateral Damage. Married with a four-year-old who is learning his Justice League (Although Hawkgirl and Flash have been renamed to Birdwoman and Runner Fast). I've basicly gotten soured on the weekly Clix night at the FLGS, altho I'm going to try to make an effort to get back into that. I'm also the guy behind HCUtils, which was done as a tool for the Fantasy League and has slowly been expanding past that (I blieve the sealed league mainly uses it, and I've heard the RSPC is as well but I haven't bothered to verify that... plus a handful of 'non-aligned' games).
I would like to thank everyone for participating, this should be a lot of fun.
My Name is Brian Muller. For a long time I was the head Envoy at Star City Games in Roanoke. I have been playing clix since Infinity Challenge, and I enjoy it a lot. I am a big believer that the best games are played amoungst friends (as such I am really looking forward to enjoying this event with everyone here).
I have a son named Arkadiy that just turned one-year old, so I dont get to play as much as I used to.
My best finish was at GenCon last year where I finished in the top 16. I am really just a decent player that enjoys the game (win-or-lose), and perhaps I get a little lucky from time-to-time. Proof postive that sometimes its better to be lucky then good. Normally, I try to play more traditional comic based teams, but for that event I really wanted to see if I could make the Avengers Red Skull worth his points.
I also really enjoy the HCUtils; they are absolutly awesome.

Which leaves Larry-Boy with the 65th team....Underworld
That completes the draft.
The next step will be for everyone to review the House Rules and the tournament format and ask any question and propose any changes.
I will see if I can get AbsolutVT69 to post the updated brackets when I send him the graphics.
Finally each player will need to send me a PM with the name of one of your teams that you want to play first and I will set-up the match on this forum.
Once things get rolling and everyone has the jist you are more then welcome to start your own matches.
Some important House Rules to review
No attacks on the each player's first turn (Player 1 gets a free opening move)
No ranged attacks even for flyers when based by an opponents figure (advantage: close combat non-flyers)
No theme team keyword bonuses other then what the card gives you (no extra free PC, and no BFC cancelling)
You will be dealt 2 random BFCs. You may play one of them, both of them, or neither of them. Once played that BFC random slot will be replaced with a placeholder for that team for the rest of the tourney. (For instance if Peers uses Poor Teamwork with the JLI, he will still be able to randomly draw Poor Teamwork with the Sinister Syndicate).
Maps will be randomly assigned for the match, but you still need to roll for side and objects. I will be using the maps found on HCUtils .
You may change builds in between rounds, in fact you will have more points and possibly more options to work with.
Survivor Points are awarded. There is No Time Limit, but for theme team card balance reasons a match will still be awarded based on who got the most VPs. In most cases this wont make a difference, but for teams like the Arkham Madmen it will most likely decide the match.
Questions, comments, and suggestions are always good!
Also: I was considering posting a 65-Team guess the Final Four (for fun and rep) thread in the main forum. If you think this is a dumb idea let me know and I wont do it.

I’m Larry Hoy , I know most everyone here through different connections. The first new set I remember was Mutant Mayhem. At the time I was lucky enough to be in Roanoke VA and started at Star City with Brian and the guys. For event days I would round up all the kids in my neighborhood and take them with me. (That way I figured I might win a game) The Star city players always played fun theme teams and made everyone feel welcome.
A year ago I relocated to Memphis TN, and out here there is Clix two nights a week, but both venues are UBER competitive so I don’t see many games any more outside of…
I have been lucky enough to get in with the HCRealms Fantasy League. Those guys are a right to play. Some of the best story posts I have ever heard. Also the starting point for Peer’s HCUtils. I didn’t want to be the one to spill the beans about your program Peers I didn’t know if it was a League only thing. But since YOU brought it up. I encourage everyone to look it up and give it a run through.
I'm Andrew Gulick. I was introduced to heroclix by my cousin's and his sister's fiancee, and have been hooked ever since. I believe that was when Clobberin' Time came out. I don't have a lot of time to participate in venue-hosted tourneys unfortunately, so I only get to play either online or at family gatherings. Look for me in Hamachi under the same username if you want to play.
I also have the brackets and several other documents that I will be more then happy to email to anyone that wants a copy.
Just send me an email or pm (with your email address) and a list of documents you are interested in.
Documents that I have ( [email protected] )

My name is Isaac Miller. I'm 26 and live in Christiansburg, VA. I got into the game between Critical Mass and Unleashed and have been playing ever since. Never read comics as a kid but this game has gotten me into reading those as well. I judge at Star City Games in Roanoke (I took over for Brian) and recently haven't been able to play as much as I'd like due to a variety of reasons. Brian introduced me to playing online and I think it's a good way to play some figures and teams you might otherwise not get a chance to. I look forward to our games!
As an aside, I have attached the 4 brackets to this post so feel free to take a look and see who you're up against. Best of luck to all!

I have a list of 54 BFCs let me know if I missed any. Also unless I get recommendations otherwise there will be only 1 Ordinary Day in the BFC pool instead of 5 different copies of Ordinary Day. I am open to ideas.
Also when I set-up the matches I will PM the players their two choices for BFCs (either, both, or neither) and send the rolls to them as well. Then they can post the BFCs they choose to go with after the opponent post his team build.
For matches involving myself I wont make the rolls until after I post my team or my opponent posts his team respectively.
