Sad to say, but with Roy, Forsberg, and Sakic gone from the Avalanche, my enthusiasm for the Stanley Cup playoffs isn't what it used to be. Perhaps it's time I returned to following the first team I ever saw play, the L.A. Kings. (I went to a few games at the Forum shortly after Gretzky joined.) The Kings ARE closer to where I live than the Avs...

Muncho Fun Fact: Back in the day when I worked for CCM (The Hockey Company) the Kings and the Avalanche were two of my accounts as Sales Manager.

I even have an autographed Avalanche puck around here somewhere from when they won the Cup.
