Not a bad figure at all. I don't like it quite as much as I do the Flyer, but it is still solid. The defensive SP is pretty handy. One of the locals I play with will certainly love it with his other aquatic forces.
cool addition to the Beast boy morph figs. i wish they kept the same color green paint tho.

Not THE BEST way to spend 60 points (just look at the pterodactyl...) but certainly useful in certain situations. Which fits a morph mechanic quite well. Lots of water? Morph to dolphin. Need the carrier ability? Morph to dolphin. Need to turtle up a bit? Find some water and morph to dolphin. Like all Beast Boy morphs, it serves a specific purpose, and it does so well.
Beast Boy continues to be one of the most creative ideas to come from the mind of 'design'. The Dolphin form could be the best swim figure to date because he isn't dependent on water terrain because he can morph out of it if there is no water around. If there IS water - look out! Hypersonic Carry without the -2 to attack with both ES/D and Super-Senses? Outstanding harasser and good at positioning other pieces - all for 60 points. Newer or weaker players will see the low damage and attack and miss the overall value he brings so he is probably best used by more experienced players.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
Fantastic piece! The idea behind it is top notch. I would like something similar for Chameleon Kid but the manufacturing cost would be prohibitive.... still, some creative painting and modding and I could pretend this is Cham, right? It's also a darn good Beast Boy mechanic.. makes me want to actually play this fig! (Beastboy that is so he can morph!!)
Yes, but you're a surrealist! I'm a normal guy!
Gil Zoo Crew or bust!
The morphing mechanic is fantastic. I've used it to great effect with both beast boy and Hank Pym and I can't wait to add more options to my animal teams! You never know when a water fig will be a game changer.

I was really hoping at some point that we would get more Beast Boy "morphs", and these new ones do not disappoint. While he gets more in the water, he doesn't look bad for just 60 points. One of the big draws for me is the fact that he has the Teen Titans Keyword, I can morph him and still keep my theme probs. Keep em comming!
Logan:I'm an X-Man and on 2 Avengers teams.
Mockingbird:How the hell do you do that?
Logan: Multitasking. Its my mutant power. Dont tell anyone.
His full usefulness depends on the map, but the good thing about Beast Boy is that you don't have to start with the Dolphin, or stay with him. Transporter at a reasonable cost, and a very good transporter in the water, his deep dial with generous mobility powers and thorough Super Senses (with possible ES/D) make him pretty darn attractive as a possible tie-up piece, too. The more I look at this BB, the more I like him.
i never really enjoyed beast boy back then nor do i care for this piece.
i like that he has every version to capitalize on each situation... but without using the BFC: atlantis or a similar one, i just don't think he's much help on any map
