No, I think the general consensus is "Give us Max Lord, or this means WAR!"
He's so necessary for so many teams. Brightest Day, Checkmate, JLI, even Royal Flush Gang...
It is? I must be underestimating the appeal. I mean, he hadn't ever really 'done' anything until Infinite Crisis, and he still hasn't really 'done' anything besides shoot Ted Kord. He's a 5 click Mastermind /Mind Control piece at best.
Alright, I've compared Boneyard's list to some of my own guesses/assumptions, and I'm willing to bet the set will look something pretty close to this:
1. Easy Company Soldier
2. Dr. Occult
3. Johnny Quick (Golden Age)
4. The Atom (Al Pratt)
5. Wildcat, Jr.
6. Ravager
7. Captain Atom
8. Crimson Avenger
9. Silver Banshee
10. Red Tornado (Silver Age)
11. Mr. Terrific (Golden Age)
12. Hawk (Brightest Day)
13. Dove (Brightest Day)
14. Beast Boy
15. Static
16. Cyclone
17. Sgt. Rock
18. Red Robin (Tim Drake)
19. Sargon the Sorcerer
20. Wonder Twins
21. Marvel (Freedy Freeman)
22. Beast Boy as a bird
23. Invisible Kid
24. Detective Chimp
25. Batman and Robin (Dick & Damien)
26. Catwoman
27. Ocean Master
28. Flash (Barry Allen classic cover)
29. Deadshot
30. Swamp Thing
31. John Stewart
32. Eradicator
33. Isis
34. Black Alice
35. Ragdoll
36. Beast Boy as a gorilla or tiger
37. Warlord
38. Superman (World of New Krypton)
39. Atrocitus
40. St. Walker
41. Indigo-1
42. Captain Comet
43. Negative Man
44. Maxwell Lord
45. Scar (Black Lantern Guardian)
46. Bane (Batman #497 cover)
47. Carol Ferris (Star Sapphire)
48. Starman (Thom Kallor)
49. Guy Gardner (Red Lantern w/chainsaw construct)
50. Alan Scott Green Lantern (Golden Age)
51. Congorilla
52. Ganthet (Green Lantern)
53. Superman (Superman #14 cover)
54. Wonder Woman (Wonder Woman #1 cover)
55. Batman (Detective Comics 27 cover)
56. Doomsday
57. Magog
58. Beast Boy as T-Rex
59. Larfleeze
60. Sinestro (Sinestro Corps)
This list is wrong... it has no Vibe.

Hammer of Thor:4 Guardians of the Galaxy, 6 Agents of Atlas, 5 Runaways, 3 Warriors Three
Brave and the Bold: 6 League of Assassins, 5 Amazons, 4 Apokolips, 7 Checkmate, 4 Justice League International
Web of Spider-Man: 4 HAMMER, 6 Outlaws, 7 Dark Avengers, 4 MODOK's 11, 5 X-Force, 4 U-Foes
As an aside, here's the root of my problems with DC sets vs Marvel sets.
Blue = never been made
Red = Remakes
Purple = Combination of never been made and remakes (or generics)
Note - Marvel's ahead on blue figures by far.
Crisis gave us some fun stuff, but at the expense of a lot of duos (of 37 duo figures in clix 29 are DC) which IMO wrecked the playability of certain teams. Imagine the outrage if half the Young Avengers, AoA or even U-Foes had been duos. Brave and the Bold gave us a lot of generics at the expense of never before named characters (and I like generics, don't get me wrong).
Marvel really seems to be making a conscientious decision to include complete, never been made team line-ups from solo books like Runaways, Young Avengers, Nextwave, AoA, while DC's counterparts (seven soldiers, secret six, shadowpact, outsiders) are lucky to get one or two figures with spots wasted on duos and reprints.

Don't get me wrong, I really, really want Jeanette. But I just don't see them making her until and unless she gets some exposure outside of Secret Six. Kate Spencer was popping up all over the place for a while, and her title went out of its way to develop connections to the broader DCU. Not being a big Marvel guy, I literally know nothing about the Tarantula we have in clix form (I'd be so psyched if we ever got the All-Star Squadron or Nightwing versions). And as for the Guardian, as much as I wish it was Jim Harper (clone or not), he was at least tied into a semi-major event. DC was pushing the heck out of Morrison's Seven Soldiers, and they've never thrown much marketing behind Secret Six at all. I'm 100% positive that we never would have gotten The Parademon if they hadn't needed to fill up a slot in BatB.
Well, Jeannette will appear in Action Comics in December. That's a start for more exposure. She's been in comics for over two years now too, so she's got a decent amount of appearances under her belt. I don't think we'll see her in this set unless we get really lucky, but I can see getting her in the next year or so.

also Deadshot was a member of the Suicide Squad
That would be fantastic, but we should add Plastique to the list. She was o nthe very first lineup, after all. Man, if we started getting more vehicles in clix I would love getting Briscoe and Sheba.
She is cool then thats a start and you never know when someone at NECA will glom on to her
Hate to correct you but Plastique was NOT on the first lineup
The first lineup was Captain Boomerang,Enchantress, Deadshot, Rick Flagg, Bronze Tiger and the late unlamented Blockbuster 1 that appeared in Legends
Now the line up from the first issue of their book that is another thing entirely and that had Captain Boomerang,Enchantress, Deadshot, Rick Flagg, Bronze Tiger and the unclixed Plastique, Nemesis and Mindboggler

Actually Justice Legion A are completely new figures. They may share the names but its like saying that Damian is a remake of Dick Grayson or Major Astro is a remake of Justice

He's also a guy that, at least for a while, outsmarted Batman, then mind-controlled Superman until Wonder Woman was forced to kill him, then he came back from the dead and made the entire world forget he ever existed so he could plot and plan without anyone being the wiser. As of now, he's one of the primary evil masterminds of the DCU.
And his connections to Checkmate go back to the first volume of that book, not to mention how many JLI fans there are that really want him.

Now, L-Ron? They HAVE to make L-Ron.
I like my L-Ron bystander, and I can use the old Despero if I need that version, so... Max Lord is much more necessary.

It might happen, I suppose. It should happen, but for whatever reason, I just don't think it will. I hope to be wrong on that, though.
As for the Suicide Squad itself, regardless of who was on what lineup, we really do need a Rick Flagg, Nemesis and Plastique. Preferably a Mark Shaw, too. I'd happily trade off some of the figs in my proposed list to get those (though getting Mark Shaw before Paul Kirk would irk me).

When it comes to Superman and Batman, Grant Morrison is nothing but a 50's cover band in a 70's psychedelic funk style.

Getting the female Manhunter before Paul Kirk irked me.
I despise what they did to Mark Shaw in order to hardsell that lame character.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.

Same here, though despite that I actually do kinda dig Kate Spencer. I hated that retcon plotline, but the series, on the whole, was actually not bad. I just kinda ignore the whole Dumas thing, and I think most of the DC writers do the same (so far).

Of course them ignoring Dumas is likely just do to the fact that nobody really has a ny use for Manhunter at the moment

That's just being anal about details for the sake of it. Technically you're wrong too, the first Suicide Squad lineups are the 4-person team of Flag, Karen Grace, Evans, and Bright, or the WW2 team of soldiers.
She's on the first lineup of the team in its own book. She's on the cover of the first issue of Suicide Squad. I consider the team from issue 1 as the first lineup, and I always will. It's the team for me.

You're absolutely right. It's just that, they are a variation or extension of existing heros. I wanted fresh blood. I was actually hoping to see the JL-million in a Zero Hour themed set. Imagine a setlist that spanned through most of DC's history, from Anthro to Kamandi and everything in between.

While I'm not opposed to the character, or figure... this is just one less "original" character that got made. Likewise I'd be perfectly happy if this were the only Batman in the set.
I mean, as the days go by, the chance of me getting Vibe in this set decreases rapidly. Can you imagine a better set suited to including Vibe? I can - it was called Justice League, and he wasn't in it. If not know, when?

I understand what you're saying, but a Dick-Bats needed to happen and happen soon. It's appropriate to be in this set, file under "current events." There's more going on now than just the Rainbow Brigade. I'd have been upset if he wasn't here.
Likewise, I'd have been upset if he was the only Batman, and we didn't get anything to represent Golden Age Bruce in the Anniversary set.
So I'd say two is perfect...

How about if they make a Detroit League collector's set? Not for mass production. They could just make one and mail it to you.
