Hammer tries to breakaway from Scarecrow and rather surprisingly, succeeds with a 6. He moves to L15, Outwits Mandarin's ESD

Uses his own Perplex and the Hammer TA to up Titanium Man's AV to 12.

Titanium Man RS to M17, targets Mandarin, AV12 on DV18. Gets 6. Mandarin makes it a 5. Some days you just can't cut a break.

Pharaoh, through the eyes of his Falcon, Outwits Scarecrow's Shape Change and attacks him, AV10 on DV16. Gets 7. I'd have preferred that on my last roll, but okay, 3 to Scarecrow, and that enables me to replace the Armor Wars Iron Man.

"I know nothing of the sort, and will keep fighting until I have brought you down," Titanium Man said.

"Hyperion's in that building," the Mk 42 armor noted. "Let's see if I can surprise him." He shot a burst of repulsor fire through the door.

"You're going to have to do better than that," Hyperion told him. "A lot better."

"I have the one called Scarecrow," the Iron Pharaoh said, a beam of energy shooting from the eyes of his soaring mechanical falcon.

"Scarecrow," Nefaria said, "oh good. That's one less negligible threat to worry about. Meanwhile the Mandarin and Hyperion are all just fine."

"I don't see you doing anything about it," the Controller said.

"Oh, you will. You will."

Hyperion hss to L17 attacking Nefaria. Needs 6, rolls 12. Awesome. Imperv is 5...not so awesome. Hype ends in M11.

I think you're misunderstanding Wanda's position. She's in a building. She's got LOF to nobody. Also don't forget to change Hyperion's spot. He's in M11. He should also have two tokens. Which means I'll probably leave him alone, at least for this turn.

Nefaria is still in M18, behind both the building and the Controller (in L17). You sitll can't target him. Not from where you are, anyway. You'd have to get close enough to my starting area that your Line of Fire would not be blocked by Controller.

Fine, first attack hits Controller for 2.

Second attack hit Titanium anyway, even if that wasn't clear in my recap.

When I first looked at the various Justin Hammer figures I wasn't terribly impressed, but they play very well, especially on the right team and with the ATA.

Enter Centurius with Brilliant Tactician on him. He'll use his special Perplex power on Nefaria to make his AV14.

Count Nefaria came around the corner to attack Hyperion. "You can't hide from me!" Nefaria sneered.

"Why would I want to?" Hyperion asked, fending off his attack. He switched it up and went on the offensive, but Nefaria was gone already. Hyperion's eye beams instead went through the space Nefaria had occupied and hit Iron Monger 2.0 instead.

"What?" Ezekiel Stane asked, confused.

"Wrong place, wrong time," Centurius explained to him.

Grimm comes out of hiding to H12.

Shaman tks A-Man to G15. Needs 5 to hit IM MA12, rolls 2. Ick. Grimm makes it 8. 2 to him after toughness and A-Man has flurry: needs 3, rolls 12. A 2 and 12 in one turn. He's out.

Hype hss to M14 snagging the lo and moving to O14 hitting Monger. Needs 5 and I hope I don't need Grimm's pc, rolls 7. 4 to him after invulnerable and Hype ends in L11.

"Seriously guys, take cover will you?" one of the Iron Men says taking out Controller and Iron Monger with his repuisor rays.

"Why give them a warning, shellhead?" Absorbing Man asks as he maces an Iron Man himself.

"That wasn't a warning," Iron Man says, "I want them to cover up their ugly mugs. I just had breakfast."

"He he," Creel chuckles, "Good one."

Barton's not marked as Stealth but he should be.

I find myself so torn. Do I play smart, and choose the figures that will really do best for me in the current situation, or do I go for those figures that I really want to give a test run to?

Centurius once again makes Nefaria's AV14

Nefaria once again goes HSS to M10 to attack Hyperion, DV19. Gets 7. Impervious is 3. Yegods, it worked. 3 to Hyperion. Nefaria ends in P12.

Also gives me another Iron Man. A cheap one. I'll take the MU200, starting in O12

Wrecker takes Iron Monger's place with Unstoppable. He Charges to M11, knocking down the wall in M/N11 on the way, and attempts to clobber Hyperion some more. AV11 on DV17. Gets 5. Because two hits would just be asking too much. Particularly when I draft the Wrecking Crew.

Mk15 to Regenerate. Gets 2. nothin'.

Titanium Man to K22

Rescue on him, AV9 on DV17. Gets 9. Support roll's a 6, well that makes up for things a bit. He's back to full.

MU200 RS to N12 to attack the Tab App, AV11 on DV18. Gets 9. SS is 2. 1 to the Tab App, but it's a biggish 1. 1 right back to him, assuming Tab App's copying Mystics.

The Pharaoh sends his Falcon to L15, Outwits the TabApp's Invincible Iron Man, which really I should have done first.

Second replacement is definitely a case of what I need, and that's going to be a Hammer Industries Drone. I'll give it the Hammer ATA and it will Perplex up it's own Range to 6. It will RS to I18, double Incap Absorbing Man and Tab App, AV9 on DV14 and DV17. Gets 12. Definitely a hit on both. A token and a click to A-Man KOs him. With the new Incap rules, a figure with two tokens takes 1 unavoidable, so that 1 to Tab App as well.

Mk 42 RS to G15, blocking Absorbing Man, double targets the Tab App and Blizzard AV12 on DV17, +2 to Blizzard. Gets another 12, and this time it matters. Let's give it all to Blizzard and KO him too.

"Only one of us may survive this," Nefaria said, diving through the roof to attack Hyperion. "My money's on me." He slammed Hyperion into the wall with the force of a freight train.

"Ha! Let me get in on this," the Wrecker said, crashing through the wall and swinging his crowbar. Hyperion caught the weapon mid-swing, effortlessly. "Or, uh, not."

"Nefaria may have escaped me for now," Hyperion said. "You won't be so lucky, and worse for you, I'm angry now."

Outside, the Mark 42 armor shot down Blizzard. "You were never a threat when you started in this business and you're not a threat now," Iron Man explained.

Meanwhile a Hammer Drone sprayed the Absorbing Man with liquid nitrogen, freezing him. "Best not to look a gift horse in the mouth, eh?" Guardian said, shooting the icily brittle Creel, blowing him to pieces. "I'd feel guilty about that, but I understand you'll be able to reform...eventually. Though as far as turning over a new leaf, you'll never reform."

"Stop confusing me with your English language," Titanium Man complained as Rescue repaired his armor.
