Diablo led Dragon Man to his chamber and gloated at the Mad Thinker who watched with the Awesome Android in tow.

Hawkeye, Blazing Skull and Thin Man converged on one side, Toro, Yondu and Citizen V converged on the other, ready to help Thunderstrike and Stature fight Dr. Doom and Terra along with Doom's new allies.

Day 49: Evening; In the kingdom of Markovia, replicated in an alternate universe.

James Buchanon Barnes; Bucky, was expecting to meet with his friend Toro along with the Human Torch as they destroyed a Nazi regiment during WWII. It was 1944 and the Invaders were in the thick of battle, except that the Torch was reporting that Toro seemed to have disappeared.

Bucky was alarmed and worried for his friend. He edged his way away from Cap which was a mistake as he backed right into a rift in reality.

In a separate reality, nearly identical, an older version of James Buchanon Barnes known as the Winter Soldier was also engulfed in a rift in reality.

Brian Falsworth; The Union Jack from WWII was also working with the Invaders in another part of the battle, side by side with his sister. He too fell into a rift in reality.

In present time, Something similar happened to Joey Chapman, the present day Union Jack.

Starfox; known on Titan as Eros. was traveling in space and had no idea that a great deal of heroes and villains from his reality were missing, including his brother, Thanos. So he was not prepared when he was taken by a rift in reality.

Owen Reece, the Molecule Man showed up and saw Stature, who he did not recognize, fighting Terra, who he also did not recognize. He also saw Dr. Doom gloating over a fallen Thunderstrike.

Molecule Man saw Doom and felt his confidence fade a little. Despite his vast power, Doom intimidated him. Owen Reece wasn't sure what he should do. Should he get involved? Then it occurred to him. For all his tremendous power, someone --- or some thing, had forceably brought him here. Was it Doom? Had Doom brought him here? Was it the Beyonder? Was he going to have to deal with the Beyonder again? He needed answers and decided that he had no choice but to confront Victor Von Doom about it.

He didn't notice five rifts in reality emerging behind him.

Starfox, two different Union Jacks, Bucky from WWII and the Winter Soldier from much later all emerged from the rifts in reality.

They looked at each other and the two Union Jacks caused a great deal of confusion but even worse; for the Winter Soldier at least, the sight of his younger self as Bucky threw him for a loop.

Brian Falsworth saw Bucky and called him to Falsworth's side. Whatever was going on, the two Invaders would deal with it together.

He challenged the second Union Jack. "Who are you? How do you dare to wear my costume?"

Joey Chapman wasn't sure how to act. He had intel on the Winter Soldier and didn't want to turn his back on him but this other Union Jack was bleeding too much mate! What was going on?

Starfox saw the other arrivals and although he had no idea what was going on decided to ease tensions by filling all four of the others with a tremendous sense of well being. They all looked over at Starfox with smiles and Starfox landed among them to learn who they were.

Molecule Man flew over to Dr. Doom and asked to know what was happening.

Toro was trying to break up the fight between Stature and Terra, at least until he could determine who was the good one and who was the bad one.

Hawkeye, Hulkling, Blazing Skull, Thin Man, Spitfire, Citizen V and Yondu were attempting to confront Dr. Doom. They were being faced with Living Laser, Grim Reaper, Crossbones and Taskmaster.

Things were looking hairy but it got even more complicated as the Avengers and the Teen Titans finally arrived after finally convincing Symkaria to let them into the country. They arrived with Paladin and the Silver Sable.

When the Avengers saw Molecule Man with Doom, they nearly had a coronary.

Doom called to Terra to cease fighting and stand by when he saw the Avengers show up. Hawkeye was thrilled to see his fellow Avengers.

Toro was spotted by Bucky, who was delirious with euphoria thanks to Starfox and insisted on going to his good friend. The Winter Soldier; despite his own euphoria, needed to keep an eye on this past self apparition and followed Bucky toward the greater confrontation.

The two Union Jacks, no longer hostile but curious, agreed to remove their cowls before each other. Joey Chapman immediately recognized Brian Falsworth from family photos Spitfire had showed him.

At that moment Spitfire ran up determined to investigate the new arrivals and recognized her brother and her former lover.

There were still many questions but Spitfire grabbed her brother and gave him a delighted hug, finding him alive.

Kang had been checking out the other arrivals during this time and was irritated that the entity behind this was tampering with the timestream and Kang himself couldn't get a handle on it. Two Gun Kid, one Union Jack, Bucky and Toro were all plucked from the past. It stuck in Kang's craw.

He returned to Dr. Doom and was surprised to see the Avengers.

Starfox moved in and joined his former Avengers teammates.

He began to subtly manipulate Molecule Man's emotions. Molecule Man was suddenly in a really good mood and began laughing at Dr. Doom inappropriately as Doom informed him of what was going on.

This irritated Von Doom but he kept it in check because Molecule Man was so dangerous.

Doom continued to bring Molecule Man up to date.

Doom got Terra to declare all of the new arrivals as having illegally entering Markovia and therefore illegal aliens and trespassers.

Hank Pym; speaking for the Avengers, explained that they; along with the Teen Titans, were merely there to retrieve the heroes that were being kidnapped against their will and would willingly leave if they were met with no resistance as they collected the heroes.

As Molecule Man's behavior became more and more lax in the face of opposition Doom began to worry. He talked hurriedly with Terra and Terra announced that the Avengers and Titans could leave with whoever elected to go with them.

The Vision gathered up Thunderstrike and when Bucky, Winter Soldier, Spitfire and the two Union Jacks joined them, they made ready to leave.

Hulkling; however, refused to leave. He demanded that the missing Wiccan and Patriot be delivered or he would not return. The heroes all decided they were not leaving without Hulkling so the large group of heroes stood their ground. Meanwhile; thanks to Starfox, Molecule Man began to get giggly.

Doom looked at Kang and Kang gave an exasperated sigh and retrieved Wiccan and the Patriot and turned them over.

The heroes gathered together and left, except for the Vision, who knew that there might be more arrivals and slipped away surreptitiously and phased into a tree near the arrival point to wait patiently.

All of the heroes were taken to the facility for debriefing from Nick Fury, Cameron Chase and Sarge Steel.

Because of the number of heroes this involved this debriefing took some time.

Batman learned of the number of heroes that had arrived and the nature of the villains and glowered. Learning about Molecule Man especially soured his milk.

The other Bat family members with the exception of Oracle were wise to stay out of his way.
