If I could make this into a poster, rest assured, I would, as that's one of my favorite cartoons of all time. Its also very appropriate for this site.

I won't be buying any Cap until Friday. Cash flow is tight, so probably just a couple boosters.

Our venue does it somewhat randomly, but it could be done better. I will first list how our judge does it, then I will list my modification.

First everyone goes to the counter and pays the owner for 2 boosters. Once everyone is paid he hands out a single booster to every paid player and typically has them pass said booster to their left or right. He then hands out a second booster and has them either keep it or pass it the other direction (50/50 on if he does one or the other).

While this is fairly random, I always thought that he should roll a D6 and subtract 2 and the first booster moves that far to the right (or left on a negative number, or stays with them on a zero), then repeat for the second booster going to the left.

While you may run the risk of a player feeling a heavy booster and trying to pass their other booster, if the judge is feeling for heavy boosters himself it is pretty easy for him to see if it doesn't get passed if a MODOK magically appears on the wrong person's team.

The single heavy MODOK makes for an interesting situation where players/judge can almost call out "heavy boosters/MODOK boosters" and then roll the dice to see where it goes.

I gotta hit the comic book shop at lunch or after work. I'm thinking I'll be dealing with less rush hour traffic at lunchtime. But then I'd feel the need to leave them in the car which I don't want to do because of the heat. But I know if I have a box of clix at my desk, I'm going to have trouble focusing on the job at hand! Oh, sad day!

Make all of us listen to it? We'd only be so lucky to listen to it, you hardly need to make us listen to it, we WANT to listen to it.

Put them in your trunk. They should be safe there.
