I never said it made them "noteworthy". I was purely replying to Grumpygoat's post stating they hadn't appeared in a major crossover event, when they were involved in the opening act of Final Crisis.
Ah. Even with that appearance, it's arguable that they still haven't been in a "major crossover event."

When it comes to Superman and Batman, Grant Morrison is nothing but a 50's cover band in a 70's psychedelic funk style.

Pay no attention to Grumpygoat. It's his nature to automatically argue about everything.
Is the 100% correct? How does a character earn a placing in the "mush-pot"? Is this information confirmed? Just curious about it's validity. I know the characters in bold are 100% confirmed and that Boneyard has a fairly decent track record. Is he a playtester?
Back to the mush-pot can anyone give me any information about it.
Ahh I see did not know that well that makes him something so Keywords

I'm really hoping we get the other founding members of the All-Star Squadron in this set (Bob Crane Robotman, original Liberty Belle).
The character goes into the mush pot either because they were on Boneyard's list and he had to make room for a figure that was not on his list or they no longer fit the theme he sees
He is not a playtester and his record used to be good based on having a source inside. he has not had the source for awhile so now it is merely his best guesses but he is still pretty good with about a 50% rate

Clearly I should have clarified "in a major event where they played a role beyond background fodder."
That said, I still think the inclusion of all 10 White Lanterns in the set is dumb, so it's not like I'm advocating the presence of one-shot nothings in a set, anyway.
And I don't argue over anything and everything. Just where people are either wrong, misinformed, or showing a pretty blatant degree of bias.
I'm in Providence! I've been out of the hobby, but I'm looking for Saturday gaming. Send me a PM if you know the down-low!

These are all guesses. He starts off with pure guesses, and as figures get rumored and confirmed, he changes the guesses to be more accommodating. I am sure tha tonce he updates the list with the newer confirmed pieces, more All Star Squadron figures will make it into his guesses (or Solovar, Gorilla Guards, and Gorilla Beast Boy will become italicized).
Once the set is spoiled, it is fun to see how accurate his original list was, or who his guesses were right before the set is spoiled, but nothing in plain text has been confirmed or denied.

Uhm... you guys do know they're not "in the set" per se, right? They're not part of the standard 60 figure count, so it's not like they're taking up space...

Very True indeed, but what will it mean for pack "collation" will a white lantern take the space of a SR in a brick, will a WL take the space of a Rare in a pack
All in all, its all good, im excited and with my luck i'll prolly pull the most wanted WL's and won't even play them, (prolly cuz it'll be Superman)

Well...unless you have access to another quantum possibility I guess We'll never know.
It'd be nice if it took the place of a non-generic Common wouldn't it eh?

if they really go the route again of putting one-panel-Figures as clix I hope we at least get some "normal version"-LEs out of that. We need Remakes of Ice, Animal Man, Barry Allen (normal Barry), Kid Flash (Bart) and Superboy

Oh I totally agree AT THE VERY LEAST they could be LEs....
I desperately want an Animal Man.
I figured that you could divide some of those up into the sets and they'd fit.
