I'm pretty sure nobody that I saw at my venue pulled a Karu-Sil, Mongol, or Bedovian.

I like them both.

To put things a little more into perspective on trade-offs rather than purely trade-ups: New Guy loses two range, can't flurry, can't deal actual penetrating damage anywhere (much less on every click), has essentially the same attack values but lower movement and lower defense values, can't TK without a Construct, only has Willpower through a power appearing on half his dial, can't boost an ally's attack value, and doesn't have a Regen click.

Otoh, New Guy gains: Outwit/Perplex protection for half his dial, higher printed Damage values, Precision Strike, stronger damage mitigation, more mobility (more clicks of Charge, end-dial sidestep, option for full-move attack), Warrior keyword, and that first turn Carry trick. The real money would seem to be the Construct trait.

I'll use them both, still, depending on needs.

I'm stuck on the two Guys too, lol. I wanna say the new one because of that nifty constract trait, but damn does that old ones trait come in really handy boosting up defense values when you have him next to a few folks (especially when they block LoF to Guy).

Why not best of both worlds and play them both together. WoL Guy can carry SoG Guy because of his trait and also get the defense bonus from SoG Guy because he's next to em.

Yes, but that's not actually why. They have identical keywords, except the new one gains Warrior. SoG guy only requires a shared keyword, not JLI, to function, so SoG Guy can still use it on regular Justice League teams and on Green Lantern Corps teams. Similarly, SoG Ice only requires the name Guy Gardner, so can buff both figures unless the appended (Green Lantern) on the new one messes up the exact name interaction. Actually having the JLA TA is not something that's going to come up much.

I'm just going to use my Guy in a purple hue. I can't wait for wave 2.

Yeah, indigo Guy is very nice for 103 points, a great ranged alternative to the melee focus of the ones so far. Not as much raw damage value, but stable values and great PPB falling into PW.

Personally, though, I'm curious how his Red counterpart is going to turn out!

I will be using pink-Guy with SoG Guy and Ice at some point in a JLI team.

Red Guy will be sick! I recall when he got a Red Ring a few years back, that was dope! I heard he got a Red Ring again and is now the leader of the Red Lanterns. I hope his dial is pretty good, as I doubt we'll get a third RL Guy anytime soon and it'd be great for those reading him in the current comics to have a solid RL guy. But with how his other dials are looking, I doubt we'll have to worry about that. I just hope they give him the GLC KW too (even though I doubt they will)

A Red Lantern Supergirl would be awesome.

I hope Soranik Natu has a really good Support power, or at least has Support in general. Her dial won't feel right without it.

That will be awesome to play both team of Lanterns Corps and JLI wtih Guy Gardner, so awesome.
