oh and Dead pool is a satrized/Parodied version of a DC character in Marvel comics.
Deadpool was a parodied version of Deathstroke, he has grown to become so much more. It's like saying Deathstroke is just Taskmaster in the DC Universe, which is exactly what he was originally.
You're good. But I'm magic!

The problem is that a lot of new players come from the "race generation" they want to define their worth by the "skill" they posses in playing a game of toy soldiers.
I'm so happy they've put all of Nextwave in there. I was dreading seeing a full setlist and having one of them missing (Groot anybody?).
As for the rest of the set, where to begin?
Sabretooth, Lockheed, The Blob, Mystique, Juggernaut (about time these were carded)
Purifiers and Wlliam Stryker, Harry Leland and Hellfire Guards, The Reavers.
What a fantastic set! I'm usually a DC fan, but this is one of the best releases to date IMHO.

Actually the other Starjammers aren't exactly high-cost figures but it would be EASY to make a more than playable Starjammers team (assuming Ch'od doesn't suck). Use THESE figures:
-Major Christopher Summers LE ( 10 attack, 6 range double target, 10 speed, possible 3 ranged damage... plus willpower. All for 39 points!? Yes please!)
-Raza Vet (solid piece for 74 points)
-Hepzibah Vet (10 attack, 6 range, possible 3 ranged damage to start with blades/claws later on. Defense of 14 sucks, but you might get lucky with Super Senses. All for only 29 points!)
-Binary U (lots of options here for 128 points)
-Majestrix Lilandra (nice support piece for the team).
Set looks neat, but I much rather prefer DC over Marvel, and X-Men is my least favorite Marvel property. I only see about 15 or so figs I'll want:
Cyclops
Emma
Beast (depends on dial)
Professor X (depends on dial)
Magneto
Sabertooth
Blob
Pyro
Mystique (Shape Change better be on the dial, dammit!)
Wolverine
Rogue
Domino
Psylocke
Angel
Iceman (the M&M one sucked....I hope this one is good)
Storm
Juggernaut
There are quite a few 'Bus Stop' figures in this set, just as there were in DC75th. Just because Emma Frost has one leg in front of the other doesn't suddenly make the pose dynamic. At least Leech is waving hello...
I agree some of the poses arent that great but i think its from the molding process. The figures are basically split in half and made into metal molds and then those are used to print the figures. More dynamic poses means more molds which would make the figures cost more and i dont think many people would want to pay 5$ per figure....unless they decided to start making them bigger.
Wow! Great Set!!
Bunch of figs I didn't think they would make. (Reevers, Trevor Fitzroy, etc...)
A few figs that are missing though like Cable and Shadowcat
How can you make a Lockheed and NO SHADOWCAT!!! URG!!!
How can you make a Stryfe and NO CABLE!!! #$@%!!!!!!!!
Get it together Wizkids!!!
Okay, I'm all a-hype over this set. Can't wait to complete it and play it and absolutely wear it out!
However, having said all that, if THAT is all we are getting for a Cannonball figure, then that wins, hands down, the award for lamest sculpt ever. He's not cannonballing anything - just standing there with his Doc Savage hairdo looking bored and inert.
May all your hits be crits!

This isn't entirely true. While yes, multi-mold figures cost more to produce, a single mold figure doesn't exactly have to just be standing there either. Ask Jimmy Butane about how good a single mold figure can look.
The Hellion/Bus-stop Superman type figures are simply the by product of lazy, rushed and/or untalented sculptors.
