In an effort to unofficially determine the best Heroclix team In an effort to unofficially determine the best Heroclix team Gargantua and FlyingIcarus took 22 of Marvel and DC best's teams and had them face off. When the dust settled there were 11 winners added with the best performing loser for 12 teams total: Avengers, Batman Allies, Defenders, Fantastic Four, Injustice League, JSA, Legion, Masters of Evil, Sinister Syndicate, Titans, Ultimates and X-Men.

Volume 2 will reduce the group to 6.

Gargantua will take Defenders, Injustice League, JSA, Legion, Masters of Evil and Sinister Syndicate.

FlyingIcarus has Avengers, Batman Allies, the FF, Titans, Ultimates and X-Men.

ROUND 1: Sinister Syndicate squeak past the X-Men

ROUND 2: Legion of Super-Heroes soundly defeat the FF

ROUND 3: The Avengers trounce the Justice Society

ROUND 4: Ultimates vs the Masters of Evil - still going on, but not looking good for the Masters

ROUND 5: Defenders vs. the Batman Allies

The Vampire Batman smells fear. He licks his lips. He can't help himself.

"They're here," he says.

"I know," Batman says. "Silver Surfer, an alien with cosmic abilities outdoing Captain Atom; Dr. Strange, a mage near Fate's levels and the Beast, strong and agile."

"Work is cut out for us, Batman," Nightwing adds.

"So is theirs," he says.

"Justice League are on their way, Bruce, but it'll take awhile," Robin says.

"By the time they get here," he says," It'll be done. Let's do it."

My reroll is a 9. Choice of map and first move is yours.

Let's try Marvel 1. i think the last game will be ready to play within a day or so.

"What's up, Stephen?" the Beast asked.

"I set up alarms when the Darkhold was destroyed years ago, and all the world's vampires along with it, to warn me should somehow vampires resurface. One has. He has taken on the guise of Batman, and seems to be working with the masked vigilante himself."

"Batman, huh? I know he's something of a loose cannon, working outside the law and all, but I thought he was one of the good guys when it came down to it."

"Me too," Strange agreed, "in fact, Batman, with the help of this vampire just defeated an incarnation of the Injustice League a few hours ago. But..."

"But these vampires are too dangerous to run around loose?" the Silver Surfer concluded for Strange.

"Exactly," Strange said. "This isn't to say that all vampires are necessarily evil. I have known some who were able to fight the blood urges. This Batman may be one. But if he cannot. If he slips, even just once, that could mean the reintroduction into this world of one of the greatest menaces I have ever faced."

"So better safe than sorry, eh Stephen?"

"I'm afraid so, Hank."

"I may not be of this Earth, but I understand the threat posed to humanity," the Surfer confessed. "You can count on my help as well."

Vampire Batman looks at Batman. He can guess his plan at this point, "We stay here, draw them out?"

"For now. We can't afford to be sitting ducks but let's see how we can play this out."

Last part of that move got kinda cut off. I'll need to know where the Batmen are before I can do anything.
