I remember reading somewhere a while ago that the Ranged Attack rule had changed for when a character is in B2B contact.
Specifically - CAN a figure use a ranged attack against an enemy that is within his range, but not adjacent, while he is IN B2B contact with a separate enemy figure?

A non-flyer may make a ranged attack against an adjacent flyer as long as he's not also based by an opposing non-flyer. But non-flyers can only make ranged attacks against adjacent flyers while flyers can make ranged attacks against anyone to whom they have LOF.

From the FAQ (emphasis mine)
Replace the text following Hovering, page 18, with the following: “Hovering characters can make ranged combat attacks against adjacent and non-adjacent opposing characters to which they have a clear line of fire, even when adjacent to opposing characters. Characters may make ranged combat attacks against adjacent hovering characters to which they have a clear line of fire, unless the attacker is also adjacent to an opposing character without Flight.”
