Does the Sentinel need to roll to move adjacent to a KC character? The rules say that the Sentinel must have one of the target squares of movement under the sentinel when it stops.
If that final "counted" square of movement is NOT adjacent, does the Sentinel still need to roll to place the rest of it onto a square that IS adjacent?
Although it's funny to imagine towering robot hunter-killers being scared off by the awesome terrifying majesty of a crippled old man in a hovering bat suit.

how eactly work the KC Team ab??? what happen is you mist the roll for be ady. to a KC fig, you must still keep moving the fig but for other place or you can choise made a different action with the same fig or also you can choise made another complete different fig with another fig or pass??
the way kc has always been treated where i play is first the character moves, when it gets within a square of a kc fig, it rolls the dice. on a 1 or 2 the fig stops where it is and can do nothing but stare in awe. on any other roll, the fig may continue it's movement/charge to the kc fig. the way it has alway been explained to me was that unless the rule specifically states you can change your action ie shape change, the original action must be played out. since kc causes the fig to stop, the action ends.

to answer the posted question, i don't think sentinals even have to go base to base to attack. as per the new big/giant fig rules, a giant can make a close combat attack from two squares away due to their longer reach but a non-giant still needs to be base to base to get in close combat with a giant.

First, the KC TA does not state that the moving figure stops. Instead, it states that the moving figure cannot move adjacent to the KC member. What this means is; the moving figure can still move it's full Speed Value (or half it's Speed Value if applicable), but it cannot move into a square that would bring it adjacent to the KC member (even if you do not intend to stop adjacent).
Also, the extended adjacent range is for Giant figs only. It does not apply to Big-figs.
1) You can do antother different thing with another fig (and put your "scared" fig in the same place of before move (like shape change or skrull team ab) OR
2) You MUST STOP your fig 1 scuare before be adyacent (to the KC Fig) And you MUST keep moving the same fig for another place?
Well, it is still the moving figure's action, and he must complete that action before another figure can use an action. Now, he can still use any unspent movement, or he can simply stand where he is. The only restriction is that he can't move adjacent to the KC fig. He can move anywhere else that he wants to.
Sentinel Rules: Movement
The player chooses any square adjacent to the big figure Sentinel to begin counting movement. A big figure
Sentinel must end its movement so that its base rests on one of the squares within its movement range.
So the Sentinel ends its max movement range with one square away from the KC fig and "rests" the other 3 squares adjacent.
Does that seem logical or possible? Or does the Sentinel player still need to roll?
That's up there with "no push damage when a figure with an action token is mind-controlled".
Oh, I hate that rule. It makes no sense to me.
He's moving again, right? --Or taking some kind of action--but he feels no effects from it?
The only other pet peeve in the whole game is that stupid diagonally adjacent hindering terrain rule--where Dr. Doom has to stop when walking between the couch and the recliner.
