she has barrier on her dial but no range? how is she supposed to use it, must all square be touching her? or is it deflaulted to 4, it doesn't say so, but i don't see how it is used?

Yes, the first square must be next to her. The other 3 can branch off of the first one in any direction (provided they follow the rest of Barrier's rules).

All the Barrier squares you choose to place for IG R must be adjacent to her as per the Barrier rules.

Actually, characters with Barrier and 0 range must create all barrier squares adjacent to themselves.

normalview, I think your getting the range rules of barrier confused with LOS. You have to have LOS to the first square of barrier.

A figure with barrier and no range must place all squares of barrier in adjacent squares.
