last week a guy won an le harvey dent, i noticed that he has outwit with 1 damage but has 2 lightning bolts. i said what good is 2 bolts with 1 damage? he said that if you shoot 2 targets you can do 1 damage to each opposing figure because the 1 is cut in half and rounded up back to 1, is this true?
cheers

that used to be the case but with indy rules it changed to one guy takes 1 the other guy would take 0 dmg.... i dunno if universe fixed this .... might wanna check that rulebook on the wk site....or a recent faqs...
"He's got a possible 12 Attack",
Yeah, with 3 Perplex stacked on top of his 9 Attack!?
Why not advertise all figures with stats that are 3 higher than what they've got?
WKids could say, "This Paramedic does 3 Damage".
The point of it is, to target two characters one with a lower defense one with a higher defense.. If you roll crappy then you still hit someone.. It's not a wasted action..

• When assigning damage, you must use whole numbers greater than or equal to zero.
and i guess if you roll a critical hit, 2 to guy #1 and 1 to guy #2. thanks.

Er... Is that the way the Critical would work? I thought it would add one to your total damage (up to 2, in this case), and then you get to divide *that* between your targets. Like with Enhancement, where it just adds to your total damage, and not to the damage of *each* target. So, in this example, a Critical Hit would allow you to do 2 to A and 0 to B, 1 to each A and B, or 0 to A and 2 to B.
Confirmation?
TRADES. eBay.
An Admin told me that I'm "too smart" for Another Realm. I hold that as a standing order.
Crit hits add to damage dealt, not the damage value.
Damage Value is the damage printed on the dial, plus any modifiers that modify the damage Value (including Perplex, Enhancement, and Shield).
Damage dealt is the damage delivered to each target, before the defender's powers are used. As of right now, only 2 things add to damage deallt: Crit hit damage and objects.
if i have a guy doing 3 damage value (printed on dial). he has three targets. i roll a critical and it's enough to hit all 3 targets. if i choose to dish out one damage each, the crical makes it two damage each?? that's awesome!
and so your saying a 1 damage hitting two targets with a critical, could now give the opposing figure i was going to give the one damage, now a 2, and the one getting no damage, i can give 1 too? again, that's awesome. hope you get what i'm saying
