Ok so if I have a figure with mastermind (A) and a figure on his last click (B) - and someone does EE on figure B, can figure A MasterMind the splash damage onto figure B since the damage is resolved simultaneously?

I had someone saying you couldn't...
They can... in fact that is Exactly the use of option #2... and by the way the ONLY way of moving an object without using it as a weapon.
The Text:
(2) It may move a target adjacent object that is not being held—or a friendly character—up to 10
squares. The target character automatically breaks away and ignores the effects of characters and hindering
terrain on movement. The target may be placed on elevated terrain but may not be placed in blocking
terrain. This character must have a clear line of fi re to the target square.

I'm not sure I understand you. Why can't a a character just pick up an object, move with it, and then drop it? Does it specifically say that once an object is picked up it has to be used as a weapon?

Yes.
I've got the full text below, but the operative part is "This character may not
cancel this power while carrying an object."
Which means that once you pick up an object, you can't put it down. (unless you lose super strength, of course, when you MUST put it down)
And in the rulebook about using objects as items it states that if you have an object in hand and make a CCattack you MUST use the object. (sorry no pasted text for you there.)
SUPER STRENGTH (optional): When you give this character a move or power action, during this
action, if this character moves, it may pick up an object in this character’s square or an adjacent square and
carry it. This character may use an object as a weapon. If this power is lost or countered while this character
holds an object, immediately place the object in the square this character occupies. This character may not
cancel this power while carrying an object.
Now, can you move an object into an occupied square?
i.e. put a enemy character into hindering terrain so as to halve their movement.
I think so. Since all it says is that you must be able to have line of fire on the target square.
Since it is a common ruling that you can target uncarried objects that are in the same square as a person (so that you can turn it to rubble), that would lead me to believe that you can just put that desk in the square with him... for good and ill.

[blinks]
So... can you use an enhanced EE to blow up objects? Y'know to take out more than one at once... or Batman.

The only way I know of to take out more than one object at a time is with a dual arrow ranged fighter with a damage perplexed up to 6 and then split to the two different objects... or with a flurry character adjacent to two objects.
