Yes, that is perfectly legal. The MC target is considered to be part of your force until the whole MC resolves, which would contain both the attack and the reroll - the latter being where the token is assigned.

Well, that's the way I ruled it......

The real sick thing is you don't have to miss the attack to PC and give the token, just make the re-roll anyway for the token. that way you can either push the MCed fig or make it so your opponent has to push next turn to use the fig.

Sounds reasonable to me, considering you could only use the CSA TA on his attack (considering that's the only time he's part of your team).
Agreed- no reason not to do that unless Ultraman already has two tokens on him when you mind-control him. It's almost always better to give your opponent tokens rather than you (unless you're trying to push one of your characters).
Well, there may be some use with characters who have activation clicks (and you're in a bind for actions), but Ultraman would still be the better choice.
