Now as then, THE QUESTION is DC's best and most important title.
I beseech all of you to write DC and let them know that we all want Vic Sage's quest for the truth about all things societal and personal to return to an ongoing title.
If you haven't read the new mini, track down the issues. If you can't find them, preorder the TP to show DC what sales are going to be like.
Don't let important comics die.
Thank you for your time.
PS: and track down the 80's run for the greatest comic book series of all time.
I'm a huge Vietch fan... Swamp Thing, Maximortal, Brat Pack. The stuff in Moore's Supreme and 1963 series. I even read his "doomed from issue #1" Aquaman run.
However, Briel, I think you and I and a handful of others are the only ones reading The Question.
It's phenomenal, though. Great concepts and take on Metropolis and Supes. Issue #3 really brought the first two issues together, spinning it into the over the top "pure comics fun" we got in #4.
I'll be on board as long as Veitch is, which looks like only two more unfortunately.
And speaking of DC comics that died that I want back, I'll mention Empire and 21 Down.
I'm loving this run on the Question. It's original and the art is just, well, for lack of a better term, awesome. Rucka said that there are plans for the Question in the Newsarama write-up of WWLA panel discussions.
Originally posted by Glen Quagmire I wouldn't call Empire dead. It'll probably come back for another mini-series when Waid and Kitson can squeeze one during their Legion work.
I hope so that was my favorite mini-series in a looooong time there is way to many issues left open like....what is Golgoth going to do about the aliens who wanted to interfere on earth? is endymon going to escape so he can get his ### kicked by Golgoth again? And what about the guy who nailed his daughter didnt he join some youth rebel movement at the end?
