Let's say that I have a team with both the LE Dr. Curtis Connors (Lizard) and LE Wade Wilson (Deadpool), which figure do you think would be the better one to receive the Autoregeneration feat?

My first instinct is to say Connors, since he has the shorter dial, he might need that extra help. Also, a good regen roll will put him right back on his Outwit clicks.

On the other hand, though, with a roll of 6 he'd be a sitting duck on his starting click. Also, as I mentioned, his dial is short enough that he might just get swatted right past the Regen for the KO. Wade at least has a little more staying power and doesn't have that pesky starting click...

Wade all the way. Put the AR feat where you have lots of Regen on the dial. I believe WW has three clicks. He has a decent shot og getting back up to a good click several times and at seven clicks it will take a little out of the ordinary effort to whack him.

Absolutely, on the Clix with the most regen.

Auto-Regen on a figure with one or two clicks of Regen is just an extra 12 points to your opponent when he smacks you past that.

Now, Auto-Regen on a figure with a couple of clicks of Regen, which you are exclusively using to trade clicks of damage with (X-Men TA), especially a Stealthed figure, that might be worthwhile.

Yeah. I had great success with putting Auto-Regen on Raven. I just kept pushing her using either her TA or her Support 'til she hit Regen then bounced back up a few clicks and did it again.

I'll just throw this out there ... combining the number of clicks a character has with Regeneration on them and the ability to regenerate back up to good clicks, who is the best candidate out there for Autoregen? In all of DC? All of Marvel?

There's always the General... but I haven't tried him out yet.

If you put it on Connors then he might make a good bait piece. Only pricey figures can knock him out in one shot.

However, if you know his dial then just hit him for 3 (which many figures can) and he is ineffective.

For most effective you need to look at Raven and Wolverine b/c of their team abilities.
They are more manuverable with their dials since you can trade a click to get to the regen.

Yes, you do need to use it first. Auto Regen only lets you use Regen as a free action at the BEGINNING of your turn.

In case anybody is wondering, I realize that there are many figs out there that are much better suited to Autoregen than the two I mentioned (I personally love it on Mr. Sinister), but I am making a team for a theme event and Wilson and Connors are there for the purposes of the theme.

I think the bigger question here is why are you using LE Wade Wilson instead of Experienced Deadpool?

'Cause it a theme and I have to use figs with names that are alliterations (Peter Parker, Bruce Banner, Wonder Woman, Wade Wilson, etc.).

Alot people call me crazy for playing a 93 point Raven. Then again I've been called an ###hole for healing 25 points of damage in a single game because of her.

If your wondering how I did that, I transfered the damage to Raven, used support with Raven, next turn Auto Regen. Rinse and repeat. I use the vet because of the 9 attack and that she has 2 clicks of Barrier instead of one thus allowing for me to push using Barrier.


Anyway for the topic, dont put it on either. Wade and all Deadpool versions are almost useless with that 6 range and Conners doesnt have enough Regen clicks to warrent it. Use it on Sabertooth (IC) or Wolverine (IC). The General is always a good pick too.
