Lets say I have 1st turn. For my opening move I move my Team near the middle of the board using the Green Lantern ability. Can my opponent attack me or does he have to wait until his 2nd turn?
As Snake suggested above. The first two examples are correct. The third is incorrect. If the first player passes, all of his characters in their original starting spaces can not be attacked.
Player 1 and/or player 2 can outwit the opponent. They can position their characters. But they can not attack their opponent's characters in their original starting spots, thus first turn immunity.

It applies for the entire first turn for all players' first turns.

It has nothing to do with starting area...it is based on starting position.

It also doesn't have to do with "move" per se. A character could move out of and back into its original starting position and would still be protected.

fenriswolf has it right. (Including his response to Snake_Eyes898's examples.) It applies to both players. If Player 1 passes on their first turn...they will be protected by FTI.
well, if the first player passes, the 2nd player should just pass as well. why give the 1st player first strike if they re just parking in their starting area. id just make them move, as if they REALLY ACTUALLY went first...isnt that the point of going first.
oh, the days of shortboarding and attacking figures before they even sneezed...

Well, they were going to call it "First round of first turns starting position immunity", but they thought that might be confusing.
Seriously though, what good would '1st turn immunity' be to the first player if it were only good for the very first turn taken? For the "advantage" of going first, you'd be unable to attack any of the opponent's figs (since he hasn't had a turn yet to move them), but on the 2nd player's 1st turn, everything of yours would be open to attack. Doesn't seem quite fair, does it? That's why 1st turn immunity applies during each and every player's 1st turn. When it gets back to Player One's 2nd turn, that's when every fig (in start position or not) is fair game.
