Lucky me, he begin. With range reduced to 6, I'm somewhat protected with my whole stealthers. On 1st round, I manage to KO his Scarlet with the Witchblade. Good girl Sara : she was 2 times on the Regen Cllix and 2 times came back to the Top :knockedou
Next, use of the Kabucki to snipe Spiderman, which was quite difficult due to his 20 Def (FF TA+Invisible Woman+Hindering) but I manage to overcome that.
Samandhal Rey carrying Lobster to hide behind proved to be a major thorn in Johnny's side, forcing him to retreat (after 2 Force Blast that pushed him out of range) to finished locked by Scarab.
Scarab, good girl also : she was killed by...Poison, since Johnny kept missing his hits on her all the game.
By mid-game, I had KOed : Cloak (stupid to come right between Ian and Abbey, even with a 19 DEF), Psylocke (the Lobster Mark), Scarlet Witch (she even didn't managed to use her PC), ... and while some of my figures were strucked, none was KOed.
Then all went wrong : bad dices (2 snake eyes with Shi ), hard to hit DEF (19) and I was starting to get unglued. I lose Ian, then Scarab and Lobster.
On his last turn, he manage to KO Shi and I KO Spiderman on mine.
Time's out, and when we count I win (thanks to the high cost of Cloak).
What I've discovered : I need to think a bit more my 500+ teams (I've forgotten the 2000 AD TA for the whole game : stupid me). This new FF TA is a real pain, especially with the V Invisible Woman. It's hard to go running after her in Indy, for she stay in the background and is well defended.
Deep Shadows is a must in Indy. Sure, it worked a bit against me by raising again those DEF but it simply saved me all my figures until mid-game : my opponent wasn't able to strike me with his whole strenght (Urgh!!! Johnny has RS+4 base damage and 2 targets...I could have been crushed)
On the good side...well, I won with Indy against a new team : isn't that cool enough?
So, the puepose of this thread (apart making me even more modest) is simple : designing 500+ points Indy teams.
Any ideas, reports, comments? Let's crush some mutants and kryptonian, boys!!!
Had a six 'man' army with a 600 point Crossgen theme at an open tournament:
U Sam Rey
V Bron
E Yukio
All Crossgen
V Hellboy
V Rasputin
E Lobster
Copy Crossgen

Won two games I played. First was with points cause the opponent had a stealth swarm where I could only wipe out Punisher and Hecate. Didn't lose any figs there.
The second opponent had the four servants of Galactus. Critical Mass Surfer, Terrax, Nova and Firelord.
He had running shot and long range for each of them, but I still managed to slain Firelord, who came too close to get touch with Rasputin and chased Nova down with Hellboy. Terrax dropped dead after changing fire with Sammy and Bron. Surfer tried to battle back, but when facing 4 crossgen-figs with only three clicks left itself, it's rather obnoxious to strike at all.
My opponent shot Yukio and Rasputin down first. Can't say which way the battle would have gone, if he had wiped out Bron or Hellboy on the first rounds, cause then Rasputin could have smacked some pain with enchanced psychic blast.
Nice game anyhow.
Had to leave before the final so I didn't get to test the six-pack against Thor.

Six crossgen figs with a couple of ranged attacks packed up with 3 outwits can make some theme teams to bow down, but I still doubt it would survive anything more competitive. Fun nonetheless.
