Uh... Isn't Cain Marko a Marquee prize? And aren't Marquee prizes supposed to be limited to Marquees only and should only appear as SRs? and special events?
I can't seem to find the page that lists the Marquee prizes anymore. Does anyone remember what they were? Mr. Fantastic, Willie Lumpkin and Cain Marko right?

Yeah, this is ordinarily true. Of course ordinarily there aren't only eight different LE's available from prize support either. Things change. Personally I'm torn on this. Part of me thinks that Marquee prizes should stand out from typical weekly tournies. The other part just wants to get the LE's, and not have to worry about winning a tournement that is largely determined by how good your booster pull was.

I'm with you Wyld, I'm torn. This is the first marquee I'll get to go to and it would be kind of neat to win one of the rarer LEs from the set...but it is also impossible to win both the Cain Marko and the Reed Richards and I am interested in both of them, so if there are more chances to win them that might be pretty nice.
But I'm wondering like K-Ness, if this isn't a mistake but who knows...
Is there usually this many possible prizes in a month..or are the DC ones just for Marquees and it just makes it seem like there are more than usual? I've only been going to actual tournaments for a couple months now so I just started paying attention to what prizes can be won when.
Heroclix 5th Anniversary: Expect Nothing...you won't be as disappointed that way.
Maybe they will usher in the Armor Wars LE's faster (like at the beginning of Nov), since these will only be recycled a few times through before the release of AW.
But I too don't like the idea of Marquee prizes being reoffered. That's a first, and hopefully the last. Of course, since the advent of SR's, the Marquee prizes have lost a little of their mystique.

But they did away with SRs, adding the mystique back into the Marquee prizes...so this would seem a wierd thing to do but maybe it is just for this set with the limited number of LEs.
The reasoning I have come up with as to why there are so few LEs in this set is because they didn't want to deal with making giant/double based figure LEs and they took up alot of space in this set. So hopefully in the next sets we will have more!

That's what I was trying to get at! These will be recycled (reoffered) Quickly with 4 being offered monthly for 3-4 months.

That would make sense. Plus those oversize LE boxes wouldn't fit very well in the box I keep my LE's in, so it was a good thing!

The origional anouncement for Icons said 8 LE's, but since it september to November for Armor Wars I guess that's not so bad and the LE's will retain some mystique about them at that point.
