Lets suppose for some wierd reason I was using say Parasite(who is on his 3rd click) and he is next to Doomsday who has superstrength. Doomsday uses fastball special to attack a figure 6 squares away, and suceeds. I place Parasite next to that figure within LOS of Doomsday. Since Parasite deals the damage, does he get a click back for steal energy? I would say probably not since it probably isn't a close combat attack, but I thought I would ask anyway.

I blelieve you are correct for two reasons. First, as you pointed out, Fastball Special is a Ranged Combat Attack, not the Close Combat Attack specified by Steal Engery. Second, the thrower, in this case Doomsday, is the one making the attack, so even if Steal Energy *did* work with Ranged Combat Attacks, Parasite isn't the one attacking.

You're right that you can't. Doomsday is the one making the attack (and a ranged one at that) - not Parasite.

Guess that means Fastball special won't be on my 2000 point team for Sunday...

How about if I house rule that Parasite can use Steal Energy if thrown by Doomsday via FBS? C'mon, that will fit on a 600 point team easily...
