Okay, so BCF requires a CCAction in order to activate, correct? Well, Haymaker is a CCAction, so you could perform a BCF attack with Haymaker, right? Question is: Would it stack?

Give this character a close combat action targeting a single opposing character. After resolving this action, this character takes 1 pushing damage that ignores Willpower and team abilities.
BLADES/CLAWS/FANGS (optional): When you give this character a close combat action, if the attack succeeds, roll one six-sided die. The result of the die roll becomes this character’s damage value.
So the BCF roll becomes the character's damage value, and I would say Haymaker modifies that value by +2
In my day, we didn't have Heroclix. If you were being attacked by Superman with a 3d dumpster, you just had to hope you could outrun him.
I went ahead and asked on the Judges Fourm for confirmation, but as far as I can tell, it's legal. Your damage value would range from 3-8, depending upon your dice roll.

I agree. Unlike Perplex, which modifies damage *before* the attack (and thus, the die roll replacing damage), Haymaker's +2 occurs during the attack. Unless wiser heads than Funky and myself can think of a reason this can't work, I'd say Terrax just found his new favorite Feat.
why can't I find any loopholes that cool? So what if I can't pounce/haymaker with a soda machine and perplex 3 more times to do 9 more damage than the original base.
BCF is a replacement value, so if you used them together the BCF value would replace the modified Haymaker damage.
Which was followed by...

You would give the character an action to use Haymaker. The damage value would increase by 2 from the Feat. You'd do the attack roll. If it hits...the player would roll for BCF. That would replace the modified damage value.
(Replace then modify only applies when the replacement and modifier both happen before the attack roll. (And technically at the same time before the attack roll.) Here one happens before -- the modifier -- the other happens after -- the replacement. So the replacement replaces the modified value.)
Oh well... I knew I should have waited for an answer before responding.

Looks like this wasn't a cool loophole either afterall.

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I'm just sorry it had to be bad news.
Well, when you get down to it, is it really bad news?
That would have made BCF be the new "borken"....so despite the fact that I can't take advantage of some obscure rules, it also eliminates the possibility that I have someone try and pull this on me and get away with it
