i have two questions on the use of outwit.

#1.......If i have my rookie Inv. Girl standing in hindering terrain (she has stealth), can Darkseid, who is standing 4 squares away, use outwit on her? i didnt think so but my buddy said it was legal. was it legal for him to cancel out her defend then take out my Superman?

#2.......Again w/ Darkseid. I had KC Superman, with the KC team ability that doesnt like opposing players coming adjacent to him. heres the question: can he charge his SOD Superman next to my Supes, roll to see if he can stay adjacent, succeed THEN use his Darkseid to outwit to get rid of my Supe's impervious, THEN roll to attack my guy? i thought you had to do it BEFORE you started an action, but he said it didnt matter because it was a free action and could be made even inbetween like this.

1) Outwit requires you to be able to draw line of sight. So unless Bright Lights is in play (or Invisible Girl's Stealth is cancelled in some other way), Darkseid cannot use Outwit on her.

2) Outwit cannot be used in the middle of an action. So your buddy was wrong here, too.

stealth can't be outwitted unless the outwitter can see stealth figs naturaly ie.team ability

2nd one i would say the outwit has to be done first.

another outwit question. if you Outwit a power, and your opponent then put a fig in front of your OUtwitter so you no longer have LOS to the fig you're Outwitting, does the Outwitted power come back?

Outwit doesn't require that you maintain LoF, you just have to have LoF to the target when you use Outwit.

So no, the Outwitted power doesn't come back.
