You do not have to place the figures in the same arrangement. A flier (or transporter) can place a carried figure in any empty square immediately adjacent to the flier. The GL team description, while providing provisions for carrying more than one figure, doesn't make any other changes to the carrying rules. Since there are no other changes, a figure(s) carried by a GL may be placed in any square adjacent to the GL figure.
From the Icons rule book (page 18 and 19):
To be carried, the friendly character must be adjacent to the carrying character at the beginning of the carrying character’s action. When a carrying character ends its movement, the carried character must be placed in a square adjacent to the carrying character that thec arried character can occupy. A carrying character must end its movement so that the carried character can be placed in a square the carried character can occupy.
Nothing here dictates *which* adjacent square...
And from the Icons PAC:
GREEN LANTERN CORPS A Green Lantern Corps team member that can carry other
characters may carry up to 8 friendly characters instead of 1.
And nothing in this description contradicts the placement rules outlined in the rule book.
While being carried, fig's disapear from the map. at the end of your move action they come back in any legal adjacent square. They do not have to be in the same order as they were before the move. And yes, you can carry them through a door. As long as they can be adjacent at the end of the move.
