Nighthawk #4 - Rated 7 - I don't know what it is about this story. It moves in spurts but it's entertaining. The Mayor kills himself after learning The Clown killed his family. Nighthawk puts 2 and 2 together and finds The Clowns hideout. He gets a face full of gas and passes out. Uh oh.

Excalibur #2 - Rated 9 - Woooo love this book. Go CC!! The evil X-Men kick the butt of the new Excalibur! Seems they want Nocturne for some reason. I loved the view of Nocturnes psyche. Go Exiles! GREAT stuff!!

Sentinal #2 - Rated 8 - Our hero arrives at his Aunts house who only wants money from him. When she finds out his not rich she tells him his mother never loved him. So he leaves with his Sentinal but are soon attacked by the New Sentinal! A fun read.

FN Spider-Man #3 - Rated 9 - Peter is dying as he arrvies at the local hospital. The Avengers show up with MJ who rushes to his side. She finds Murlon about to finish the job and attacks him. He breaks her arm but Peter awakens all mutatedish! He has a spike inhim arm and stabs Murlon! He then eats him with sharp teeth! After its over he collapses and dies in MJs arms =( It was a very sad sceen. As we know he's not really dead. =)

Marvel Zombies #1 - Rated 10 - HOLY CARP! Was this AWESOME. I TOTALLY didn't see THAT coming. MAN!!! And the ending! I CANNOT wait for the next issue! SO GOOOOOOOD. Get it cause I'm not gonna spoil it for you.

Spider-Man/Black Cat #4 - Rated 8 - Hell must have frozen over because issue #4 is out after a 3 YEAR delay. Felicia is in jail for the murder of the guy who tried to #### her. Seems his majordomo did it? Spidy and DD arrive to spring her from jail but the majordomo is there already and beats the 2 heroes soundly. Seems he's a Telekinetic and a Teleporter!! Worth a 3 year wait? No. But still good.

Ultimate Spider-Man #87 - Rated 8 - I LOVE seeing Peter and Kitty together. I'm conflicted though cause he should be with MJ. Sable and crew are still after Spidy but the cops are searching for them now as Flash escaped from them. Plus the school has security all over and Peter is in danger of having his ID exposed!!

Ultimates 2 #9 - Rated 9 - So we find out the BIG secret! Black Widow is a traitor as is Pym. We see a lot more Ultimatized characters like Crimson Dynamo. The bad guys using Loki's magic (I guess for stealth) and assault New York and beat the good guys pretty soundly. I can't wait for Thor to kick ALL thier butts. I liked hwo the mentioned that the Fant 4 and X-Men are also und assault but what about the othe rheroes like Spidy and DD etc etc?

Spidey....eats Morlun?




Wow. I kept thinking that the story couldn't get much worse, but they've proven me wrong again...

Spidey did not eat Morlun. If he did, then it wouldn't show Morlun still talking in the next panel, then turning into sand. Spidey ate his "essence".

Somehow, that makes it even dumber. And if Spidey ends up being a Spider monster, that's just stupid. I could see him transforming into one when he needed a strength increase, though that's a little too Hulkish for my tastes, even if a spider is cooler. Of course, I really want Stracynski (I don't care if I spelt it wrong) to get off the title as soon as possible.

Ultimate Spidey was a few read thankfully, and Peter and Kitty are just too cute together. The MJ stuff was sad though, I wonder if she's gonna date Molten Man to get back at him now. Oh yeah, I'm kinda wondering what Silver Sable is gonna do.

And Sentinel...why can't this become an ongoing series again? Well, depending on how this mini ends, I hope another might be in the cards.

Marvel Team Up 15 also came out..

AWESOME READ!! A lot of our heros died this week, We seen Ultimates, FN Spidey,Marvel Zombies, and now this. We read how the F4, Black Panther and DD are taken out, and how they plan on having trouble with the Xmen because, even though they have the mansion assaulted, they cant get a set record on there current roster. Then we see the Avengers headquaters blown up with only Caps shield, Ironmans hallowed out armor, and Sentrys melted body left. Peter Parker is attacked as Parker, showing they know the secret identities, and he gets blasted after he lets MJ go. Luke Cage gets Melted after Gravity helps him finish off the bad guys. Pym and Wasp get blown up, U hear Ghost Rider, Black Panther, Warbird and the New Warriors are fighting back then u see Speedball getting chased after the other Warriors are killed. Speedy is in shock that theyre dead especially there brick Nova but not him. U then see Chris Powell watching a tv that shows the villian saying theyre from the future and have wiped out most of the earths heros, and the world has 48 hours to surronder. so he changes to Darkhawk and heads to Excelsor's place to find only Ricochet left but he gets killed. So he decides he has to get to NY after escaping. U find out that there are smaller heros that never made the history books like the big ones, and theyre not considered a threat yet theyre still getting dealt with just in case, like Excelsor, and an "asain girl thats actually a robot" that I dont know who that is. But what it leads to is that Speedy, Darkhawk, Gravity, Sleepwalker, Dagger, Arana, X23, and Terror Inc. all team up some how. Its going to be a hoot, its my pick of the week.

followed by Marvel Zombies! Spiderman crying about how he ate Aunt May and MJ is priceless! as his Banner trying to turn back into the hulk!

As for Ultimate Spidey...MJ will probably get killed by a 2nd string villian knowing the author, or start dating Iceman. Of course Id rather have her date Silver Sable, but thats just me.

The issues of Ult FF that this spun out of were the best issues of the series yet!
I bought this at lunch, read it, and then called the shop and had them put another one aside for me to buy later. And I haven't bought 2 copies of a book since the 90's.
This book is gonna be hot, and it was seriously under ordered. Get it while you can. (If you can.)

I read Ult Xmen and Spidey, and don't know when the heck these two actually got together.
It seems like one issue they just started making mention to the two of them dating and there it was.
Did I miss something?

As good as this story is, it is also so reminiscent of early issues of the Authority that its almost like reading the same book.

They got together as a couple in "Ultimate Spider-Man Annual #1" (after there being some mild flirtation/crushing in assorted issues over the last few years).

Even taking away a few points from Ultimates 2 #9, it's still an 11 out of 10. It just was one of the best comics I've ever read, full of more twists than an M.Knight movie, lol..."what a twist!"

Ult Spidy annual #1 I think. An issue where Peter and Kitty go to the Mall together and hook up.

Yeah, the Ultimate Spidey Annual was really good too, especially since it came in a time where Peter really could use the pick-me-up after moping around about MJ for about 5 issues or something. You just feel sorry for the poor guy and it's good to see him on an upswing for awhile before he invariably crashes to the ground again.

So far Kirkman has yet to impress me. I thought it was stupid that he aloud Magneto to survive the explosion rather than go out in a Blaze of Glory like he should have in Ult. F4. Instead he alive and lasts about 4 pages before he gets devoured by Zombies, what a way to go................

I have the same feelings for Marvel Team-Up #15. How is a energy blast that destroys the top of the Avengers headquaters going to kill The Sentry? He survived a Nuke going off in his face with minimal injury, but can't take a blast like that? Please................................

Holy Carp! This is the freakiest Spidey Story that I've read, since the Kraven story (when he kills himself). So it's kind of becoming clear that what's "killing" Spidey is actually mutating him, and that his "death" is a dormant stage of some sort, that he will remain in, until he's done evolving. Or at least that's how I see it.


I actually think that the big reveal was easy, and a bit disappointing. The reason being, because she was too obvious, being a Russian. I wish they would've made it someone esle, just to really throw us into a frenzy. As for Hank being a part to all this, I never liked the SOB anyway, so I hope I get to see more of him getting his arse thrashed. What really surprised me, was when the armada decended on NYC. As soon as I turned the page, I was all like HOLEY ####! Poor Jarvis! Great Stuff!

Hes getting a costume in Feb. If that stinger we saw is one of/the new power hes getting after the evolution, are we going to get a darker verison of Spider-Man?

Its a blast from a weapon from the future. They said that they had history on all the big time heros so Im sure they have there weaknesses. Some more extreme then others. Like Luke Cage. The blast was meant to get Sentry, as well as the rest of the Avengers, thats why they were a lil surprised that Caps shield and Iron mans armor still survived. Also remember this isnt a Bendis book so the charcters can have a weakness. If it was a Bendis book Im sure the Cap, Ironman, and Sentry would be talking about Luke Cages baby up until they got blown up.
