Say I have a fig with Super Strength adjacent to both an enemy and a object. I attempt to break away and fail. Can I still pick up the object even though I didn't move but technically gave my fig a move action?

I was playing in a tournament when my opponent did this to me. The judge said it was ok but I'm not so sure since he didn't move.

If you fail a breakaway roll, your action ends then and there, disallowing you from doing anything more that you could normally do in that action.

20pt Destiny or 35pt Domino are cheap insurance. 50% chance to break away becomes only a 25% chance of failure.
