For the points, she's a solid figure. Just needed a click or two of charge. But she has 3 clicks of 3 damage, 6 clicks of BCF, a decent defense for a figure her cost, and two clicks of regen.
For her points I've always liked her, though she hasn't aged terribly well. Charging 10AV blades, 2 clicks of regeneration, 6 clicks total of blades, free move, excellent keyword variety and 3 clicks of base 3DaV for her range attacks, all for 66 points is pretty darn reasonable; it's just her swiftly plummeting DV that causes problems for her. She's a DIY figure through and through as, extra abilities from feats or no, bringing her above 66 points pushes her into overpriced territory.
The sculpt is nicely detailed in the flame and whatever she's standing on, but... she's wildly out of proportion. While leggy heroines are tradition for comics, as are impossibly voluptuous women, but the length of this figure's legs make it seem like she should be 8-10 feet tall (in scale). So where the cool flame and base would earn her extra points, the legs detract, leaving her in the neutral middle.
This and the veteran Shi figure are two IndyClix that I still use in tournaments and friendly games. I usually get pretty good results from them, especially for the point cost. I also like the figure. It's based upon a Witchblade comic book cover that's listed in Wizard Magazine as one of the top 5 Witchblade covers of all time. But, I like the cover that ranked #1. So, I'm having a custom figure made of that #1 ranked cover to place on this dial.
Tell me what ya think.
What's shocking is the price tag she still holds on the secondary market, along with Hellboy. Even in 2023, you can't find her for less than $10, which for the same price, you can get the Mail-Away LE.
Just like all the other Sarahs in Indy, she's fantastic for the points. She's only less playable compared to her LE due to front loaded Toughness. A paltry 16 Defense with Toughness isn't hard to crack, even against older sets like Infinity Challenge and Ultimates. Regeneration does help offset it, but it's not unique to this specific version of her.
She's not the worst version of Sarah by any means and is still better than 90% of the figures in the Indy set.
