Manchine, I think Dial is meant to mean how well the powers work together. Even if a Hulk fig had 19 defence, RS, triple tagets and incapp, that would still be a good dial.

Playability is sortof the same thing, but with the point cost factored in, imo.

If this hulk was 40 points, it would get a high rating on playability, just becuase it has a great dial and a budget point cost.

Actually I think its more of a combo of playability and comic accuracy. They wouldn't put two things that are the same. Is the dial comic accurate is the dial playable. I would include the point cost in the dial also.

I sort of think the same. I'd also factor other things in playability : how well a fig would fit in a team, in most metagames, etc. Dial would be more "how does the character function by himself in theory" and playability "how does he fit in a team practically".

This is what I was saying all along. Of course it was ignored. Lets see Comic Accuracy 1. Playability 5 the middle 3.

Good power structure and very playable. Really close to being accurate.

Defense values are the only flaw. She's extremely powerful and cost-effective.

Quit rating playability so high! You'll bring the average score up and passers-by will think this fig has great comic accuracy!

Just came across this figure's review and i'm just in awe of how two mega power nerds can come to such a fierce and "trivial" dissagreement over a silly little toy. I hope these weren't actual grown men. :cheeky:

Its funny how this pops up every now and then. I know I tried not to have the discussion in the forums and even tried to talk through pms. The other person just couldn't accept someone having a different opinion then themselves. I still come to this thread and just laugh. What funny is you don't even see the entire posts 90 % of it was deleted. I had to call a mod in here. =)

I just noticed you can see the entire rant from that guy in the units section. Cool.

I would like to mention that she is actually more in line with todays power level and not the power levels back then. This original, lets call it a discussion, happened back in 2007.

Simple, but effective. Her dial is reminiscent of Moonstone's (HoT); if Komand'r were made in the Modern Age, she'd probably sport a few clicks of Psychic Blast and Poison.

Still good damage output, but incredibly easy to hit. Watch out for enemy MCers, too.
