52 #33 - Rated 8 - It's the Holidays. Lex has evil stuff planned. Nightwing and Batwoman chat. The Question is getting worse and Renee has to deal with it, but she does get HOT LESBIAN ACTION hehe. Black Adam and fam try to make peace with everyone. Still a good series.

Secret 6 #6 - Rated 8 - The team beat Savage and everything is great. Well not for hatter who gets betrayed by Ragdoll. Good series. Should have an ongoing.

Teen Titans #42 - Rated 7 - The tale of Kid Devil. Eh. It was okay. We find out he pretty much sold his soul for his powers and has only 3 years to go before he has to pay up.

Shadowpact #8 - Rated 7 - Ragman gets some insight into his job. Kind of an origins thing. At the end he adn the others beat off the light warrior guys.

BoP #101 - Rated 8 - Lacks Canary. Babs and the new team are to be arrested by Spy Smasher and the gov after saving the day. I dont thin Babs is as screwed as she thinks she is since Lois is the one to "do the Oracal interview". Still a decent book but lacks that "Something" that Canary brought to it.

Secret Six had a good ending, though I don't know if I'd want an ongoing series. Overall I had a lot more fun reading Villains United and if the next villain for the Six is Mad Hatter, well that's a little less exciting then The Society or Vandal Savage. I'll definitely check out an ongoing, but I'm not really holding my breath for something that'll capture the magic of the original mini-series.

I found it very touching, and realistic, when the Question came out of the room delirious. I've been around people with terminal illnesses a lot in my life. And I've seen them act like that. After that part, and Rene's reaction, everything else in the book was secondary. But yeah, this series, to me at least, keeps on clipping in at a good pace, and hardly ever skips a beat.

52 Sounds interesting this week. Can't wait to find a copy.

I am concerned about one thing in 52, and that's WWIII.

Johns says it's coming in issue 50. Does that mean it's a two week war?!?!?!

I believe that 52 will lead into this WWIII, but am not sure.

It can't, because that would mean that OYL would be WWIII.

Any new clues as to what, exactly, "52" is? Speaking of OYL, the Guardians have mentioned "52" a few times in the GL OYL storyline they had. And seemingly, SuperBoy Prime will play a part in all of that.

I don't know, I was just tossing something out there as a possibility. I had a few more ideas, but if Johns stated that it hits in issue 50, then they may not be a possibility.

I do have this idea though, and it may be tied directly to all this. Remember that in Superman's OYL, Luthor had been sued and lost everything. Now obviously, it has something to do with his everyman project. So it's probably not a far-fetched idea that his project is involved in all of that. Also, Black Adam's attempts to reconcile his actions with the world, may play a part in that. The world is viewing him as a growing threat, and I can see his enemies or world powers invading Kandaq, and Teth going bat-####-crazy.

Secret Six #6 I thought this was a pretty good read. Not sure that I'd like to see this as an ongoing. But I think it could make for a great recurring mini.

Here, here! Don't ruin a great concept due to instant gratification of sales. Once a year (or maybe two)mini with these guys would be nice, besides I think everyone appreciates the Six because of their Suicide Squad feel, and we can get that from Checkmate. But it is nice to see someone sticking it to the Society other than the Heroes.

I think him killing the kid to harvest is organs will be the downfall of Lex. That had to be the worst thing possible for him to do. Wouldn't be surprised if the Doctor doesn't kill him and tells the family.

I think it's the beginning of his downfall. I'm just having this vision of his Infinity, Inc squad invading Kandaq and being slaughtered on TV, as their powers fade, or some such thing.

I just hope Steel loses the "steel" look for good. I prefer him in the original armour... and not played in a movie by a basketball player.
