Wonder Woman #5 - Rated 9 - Yea so DC finalyl got tired of waiting for the 1st arc of Wonder WOman to get finished and just decided to make a filler issue instead of the final issue of the arc. And it's actually pretty good filler. Its about a women's abuse shelter created due to the example WW sets for women. WW ends up savinga woman who's husband is about to lay into her. He goes to jail but ends up getting splattered by... someone/thing. As for the final issue of the 1st arc, will it be issue #6 or later?

GLC #10 - Rated 8 - Guy goes to help 2 rookies fix some space-wasps homes and they all have a clash of personalities. The Kurogar doc gets a new partner and I tell yea I almost wanted them to start making out after thier little spat. GLC got some fine ladies. Plus it looks like Mogo might have some mind controlling bugs on him and Kilowog is going to get infected plus Im sure other lanters. Good stuff

52 #45 - Rated 8 - Good stuff as usual. BA seeks revenge on a nearby country cause they helped the 4 horseman. He completely destoried the country and kills Death, who tells him where he came from. Dr. Sivana ont eh island O' mad docs is happy to hear it cause he's ready for BA. We also see Renee in the Questions gear sans mask.

Green Arrow #72 - Rated 7 - So the whole thing was put together so Hood could tell Speedy about how sometimes you have to cross the line for the greater good. Apparently this shakes Speedy up cause she knows it's true what with her coming from the streets just like Jason. We also see that GA's financial aid to the Outsiders get revealed to the media, which is bad news for his mayorship. And oh yea his conversations with Batman is hilarious. Thos 2 just dont get along heh.

Teen Titans #44 - Rated 8 - Mostly its more fo the titans getting owned by the evil titans. Saldes 2 kids start fighting him and Batgirla nd Robin get envolved. In a turn of events Jericho stabs Blade throught the chest! And then Robin stabs Batgirl with an antidote to the drugs Slades been giving her! She comes out of her drugged state and says she remembers all the stuff Slade made her do and vows to kill him. Woohoo Cass is back!!

picked up 52 and titans myself and thought they were great. jericho stabbing slade like made that issue better than i was hoping it to be.

and Black Adam was awesome, they need a clix fig that can represent him doing that.

I think you'd have a hard time fitting the millions of women and children bystanders on the map for him to wipe out.

they could make a feat card or bfc that says if black adam is the only character on your team then all figures with a lower point total than black adam are immediatley removed from the game.

With the proviso that it takes 36 hours for that to happen.

yeah Sivana hopping with glee was fun. Makes me wonder what he's got up his sleeves... we know he's not hiding anything in his hair.

I don't know.... Renee wearing the Questions stuff looks.... forced? and she definitely looks uncomfortable with it on. Good stuff.

Did anyone else find Tales of the Unexpected to be disturbing? I think DC has gone over the top with this. I could tolerate the events in 52 and JLA but this hit to close to home for me.

The Phantom Stranger confronts Allen about the Spectre and the Spectre's latest punishee and the victim of which neither step in to help. I found this story in extremely poor taste and will write DC a letter or two about my displeasure on how this story was handled and its subject matter. If I want to see a story concerning Law and Order Special Victims Unit I'll turn on the TV I don't need to see this C R A P in my comics! I will finish the series more than likely but I do sincerely hope that this garbage does not rear it's ugly head in a comic ever again. I'm sorry for this rant but the cover definitely needs a suggested for Mature Readers, and I hope this issue never hits the newstands.

Besides that all the other pulls this week were good, we finally found out from the quiz DC had a long time ago that it was Adam that destroys an entire country. At least there was not excessive gore and violence and even though they threw in the "women and children" comments in there it was done in "good taste" at least.

See, I was wondering about that, too.

I THINK it's going to be in the next Superman issue. If you read this week's, at the back, in the previews, it says that he helps Wonder Woman against the power of the gods, and it looks like, from the cover, that it's Circe and Herc again. So the end of the arc might be in Superman.

I bet it has to do with the Mr. Mind caccoon that was found in his lab earlier in the year.

An interview on one of the Comics sites had Didio confirm it would come out as a "Special" sometime later in the year.

What a debacle. I hope the new team is able to recover from the transgressions of their predecessors.

Yet somehow even with all those delays and problems...we got most of the story arc for WW in the time we've been waiting for the final issue or so of "Ultimates".

And, c'mon, admit it - which old time fan didn't go "Yes!" in #4 when she did the twirl and transformed back into Wonder Woman.

I did, but I realized there was only a page left, and that the small victory would be short lived.

As mentioned, the conclusion to the first arc will be coming out as some sort of one-shot. DC had to go ahead with the new stories and creative team because the upcoming Wonder Woman issues will end up being somewhat time sensitive once the Amazons Attack crossover starts.

Not to mention they probably didn't want to keep Jodi Picoult waiting too long.

Really, as fun as it'll be seeing Diana tear through the likes of Angle Man again - and it would've been nice to have it in a timely manner - I'm okay with DC doing it this way. We'll eventually get the story but in the meantime the series doesn't get held up to absurd lengths (and we're not really -missing- anything other than some cool fight scenes and Diana reclaiming her ID with appropriate lengthy speech which we can all pretty well imagine anyway). Not quite the same as having your cake and eating it too but, hey, at least we're not waiting almost a year for a summer event to be released and DiDio blaming the comic retailers.

mmmmmmmmm..... amazons attacking..... sounds kinky.
