if you have multiple ranged attacks can you target them all on a single character?
Let's say vet Legacy Batman (2 ranged targets, damage of three) shoots the exp Icons Joker who has protected. Can he target him two times and split the damage? Thus the Joker's protected would only work on one of the two attacks? I would assume the joker would get to pick which attack to use the card on.
Also, would the Joker have to make two seperate Masterminds to avoid damage (assuming he is not protected)?
Also, can you mastermind pushing damage? I'm pretty sure the answer is no (as it is unavoidable damage). Can you mastermind damage due to 2nd token being placed on you by an incapacitate or from the protected card?
With multiple bolts/ attacks the attack is made against up to as many characters as you have bolts & LoF to in the same attack. You would then compare the roll vs all defense of the targets. Were you to hit Joker and he had Protected he could use it after damage was divided and dealt out.

I don't think pushing is unavoidable, but the way I heard it, it is damage taken and not damage dealt, so you can't Mastermind it.

This is correct. You cannot mastermind damage taken from something you did, ala pushing or a crit miss, or unavoidable damage. I think the current ruling includes Mystics damage, which since it states take 1 damage as opposed to dealing 1 damage, mastermind won't stop it.
As per the other questions, you cannot multi-target the same figure twice. You are only allowed to legally target a character once, and you only make 1 attack roll. I see what you are getting at, being able to force a guy to use his protected on part of the damage and then still applying from the second target attack, but you can't. I think somewhere in the rule book it specifically states you must target more than one character in a multi-target attack. Beyond that, damage from a multi-target attack is applied at the same time, so the damage you dealt, even if you could multi-target the same character, would stack all at once and be applied all at once, and he could use his protected or mastermind to still avoid all the damage.
Lead me not into temptation, just point me in the general direction and I'll find it myself.
Also protected works against the entire ACTION not against any individual Attack and it Ignores the Damage DEALT as well.
So even if the damage DEALT were from two seperate sources they would still be ignored. For example, Energy Explosion Direct and Energy Exlosion Splash Damage.
