So, the Com Dish is a heavy object that adds +1 to damage value to your attack (it's in LOSH).
Should that be +1 in addition to the standard +2, or is it just a heavy object that's underachieving? I mean, logically, I would think it's the former, but then again, I didn't think meteorite should be as insane as it is.

It modifiies your printed damage by +1 and then you get the +2 for using a heavy object. You basically get +3 rather than 2. It's like the soda machine.

...except with the new LoSH rulebook, it'll modify Damage Value as opposed to Damage Dealt, like the Soda Machine did. So you would be unable to perplex/ICWO your Damage value while using that object without being subject to the Rule of 3.

That's my interpretation too... and now your Soda Machine is just as good as the Com Dish. Wanted to get feedback since it comes out next week, and I wanted to know how to rule it.
(And yes, I'll be using the LOSH on my scenario next Wednesday, woot!)

Another little tidbit I remembered: Look at the rules for the Soda Machine, it still adds +1 to Damage Dealt, so it's still better because, with Perplex, you'll be adding 4 to the total damage (Damage Value+Damage Dealt Modifiers) under the new rules.

Do you mean the starter set, or just an LoSH team? The reason I ask is that I believe you can't technically use a starter set until 2 weeks after it's released, just like the pulls from boosters of new sets.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
Regular games? Hell, you bought it, you can use it.
Okay, you got me..... he doesn't specify that the scenario was/wasn't a tourny.... I just assumed that's what he meant.
