How would you play Shazam! if he got exhaustion played against him.
I was planning on playing a 300 point game with R Shazam! on it, and if exhaustion is played against me, what should I do?

R Shazam from Origin is best on his second click, which I imagine is why you're a bit flustered regarding tryign to push him off activation.

The first thing I'd reccomend, is someone with Mind Control, and the Compel feat.

Have Billy move, then have Mr Mind compel him to say... move again, and move onto the click you want.

Second... Support may help. The odds are better that you'd heal a single click than 2 or 3.

Any of those feats that give a click of damage when you use them would work, I'm not sure whether retired cards or figs work into your strategy...

You could try and mindcontrol someone with 1 damage to attack Billy?

Just some suggestions.

hmmmm you could compel him?
pulse wave him?

The only ways around it are going to be wasted points, you could use "Call to Arms" or something but once you've added those points I'd say go with R Mon'el. Thats going to be Captain Marvels biggest problem. If the keywords come out, theme him. If you do play R Mon'el team him up with R Question for your outwit so he can copy the batman TA. You could use Invincible from the collectors set or play a superman robot.

You could play warzone (is that still legal?) and play a medic with 1 damage and heal him of one damage. Another roundabout way. You could just play him with charge on his opening.

You could have a pog with mercenary on it and have a Mystics member on your team. Have billy attack the pog and it will activate your billy into Shazam.

Last time I checked, you can't attack your own figures. :knockedou

Even if it could work, thats a lot of points when I can just use call to arms anyway.

Now that we've seen the new Galactus map, there is a new great way to kick start Billy. If you start on one of the buildings that aren't farthest back, (which is fairly easy since it's 2/4 starting areas) you can TK Billy into any of the "open air" sections. This activates him, and can get him across the entire board because he can come up on the farthest stairwell away. Now you can fly in and wreck somebody for 6 damage with a well-placed object!

What does everybody think of that?

That is a brilliant idea! And it gives Billy a huge advantage with no actions on him.

Now that that CoG map bit an idea you just have to hope you win the map roll.

You COULD always play nanobots on R *Captain Marvel* (see sig)
Use the nanos on his mid-dial Billy clicks and up to his second.

If you wanna get him onto that awesome click 2 without wasting points, you're better off having Billy Batson roll a critical miss, attacking a mystic, or just playing a theme to ignore that mean old exhaustion.

Of course, you can play your nanobots AND your own exhaustion. Pushi billy to get next to an object. take 3 damage, get to the 4th click (another Billy click) and nanobot the object to get to click 2. Make sure the rest of your team is willpower, while you're at it.

I could write a long, drawn out answer stating the pure genius of this plan. But knowing it would annoy you, I have decided to sum up my answer to...You mess with Diamond and you get cut.

The plan is PURE GENIUS!!!
