yes the wildcard can copy the alt TA but only as long as the TA can be copied by the wildcards. for instance (borrowing from your example ) wasp +thunderbolt,You can't assign wasp Power cosmic, Ousiders or Quintessence, since ordinarily even wildcards can't copy them.
