In using Contingency Plan, can the fig with Leadership (or MM) be their own 'friendly fig'? i.e. Can they use the bonus on themselves? (I assume so - a fig if friendly to itself, right?)
Thanks for the help
Yes, figures are always friendly to themselves. The only time you can't use 'friendly figure' powers/feats/etc on the character with the power/feat/etc is if the description specifically says that you can't target that character. Contingency Plan has no such limitation.

So that means Luthor's SP of Perplex requires him to roll if he targets himself, right?
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
(about luther's power) looks like i cheated in the starro tournament. too bad i only won a single match in the past 5 weeks, and he wasn't even on my team then.

A character is not friendly to itself. A character is not friendly to your other characters. When the term "friendly" is used, it's referring to you. Your characters are friendly to you.
So when Contingency Plan says you can use the tokens on a friendly character, you can apply the bonus to any character that is friendly to you which includes the character that has Contingency Plan assigned to it.
When Lex Luthor uses his special Perplex on himself, he has to roll because he is friendly to you.

Which is a really long, complicated, and round about way of saying a character is always friendly to itself

Actually, all you really need is, "When the term "friendly" is used, it's referring to you. Your characters are friendly to you." The rest is supporting examples.
1-How do multiple con plans work together on a team?
They work just like the description says: if you have any actions left at the end of your turn, you add a token to the card(s) (multiple cards just means one token on each card). Then, later on, you can take tokens off the card(s) to modify different combat values. Essentially, you just have a large pool of tokens now.

2-The pre-req for placing tokens on con plan is if there are 2 or less-but how many can be placed on it during a turn?
If the character's controller does not use all of his or her actions for a turn, put a contingency token on this card if there are two or fewer tokens on this card. When a friendly character is given an action, you can remove any number of tokens from this card: The character modifies the friendly character's speed, attack, or range value by +1 for each token removed.
'A' is singular, so you always put one token on the card. Doesn't matter if you have one extra action or ten, just one token goes on the card.
Ok, the coffee's kicking in now I think-thanks for your patience.
So I could place up to 1 token on each con plan per turn for any # of unused actions per turn, giving me a total of 2 modifiers for the next turn then?

Or 3 modifiers with 3 cards, 4 with 4 cards, etc. You've got it now
