I think i may have just found a great feat combo but i want to make sure it works first. If i have taunt and swingline of the same character can i taunt someone with the wing symbol sucessfully will they become grounded? This would become a huge advantage because people who forget that swingline grounds characters may place flyers in hindering and then if i sucessfully taunt them their movement will be halved and also will not be able to run past all characters in the way.

That would only be good causing a soaring figure to possibly take damage from the fall or to bring them down to be tied up by a grounded figure.
The Earthbound only lasts until the end of the turn.

Swingline would prevent the now grounded figure from flying around other character bases and over hindering terrain. Taunt would force an action to move in on their part.
Maybe not leathal, but definately disruptive and annoying. In other word, I like it.

You mis-understood. Swingline only causes the target to be Earthbound until the end of the turn that it is used. The target will be a flier at the beginning of the owner's turn.

No it says the players next turn meaning that his character is earthbound for a turn and gains it back on the next turn
The ideal tactic would be to first Mind Control an opposing flier to perform a move action and go to soaring (ideally, a flier with Divebomb), Outwit any damage-reducer it may have, then after the MC action, use Taunt+Swingline to negate its flight and take knockback (fall) damage.
When used with Inferno, you can park them in hindering and deal then more damage at the beginning of their next turn.
It says, "the target gains Earthbound until the beginning of its controller's next turn." The controller's next turn is right after yours. The Earthbound goes away before the character is required to move towards the character who Taunted him/her.
It was a good idea, but turns out, it doesn't work.
