Ok my question involves blocking terrain that is next to hindering (assume E & C are on a direct diag and x & b are adj).
E
-------x
bbbbbb C
b
b
E = Enemy
C = Character
b= Blocking Terrain
x= Hindering Terrain
[Ignore the dashes as w/o the the x keeps moving to the left]
So my question is whether C gets the benifit of the hindering terrain for line of sight purposes (say he has stealth)? I always thought yes in the same way is if someone was trying to shoot in between 2 pieces of hindering. It has been brought to my attention that this rule has change and that the blocking no longer works with the hindering (seem crazy to me but since I don't have time to keep up with all the new rulings I have to wonder).
I'm assuming that you mean this:
E . . .
. . . .
. . . X
B B B C
The Line of Fire (there's no line of sight in the game) is drawn as if passing through hindering.
(Movement on the same path is treated as clear terrain.)
