What happens if you choose to ignore Great Arena when you have a theme team? Does your opponent still count doubles as crit hits and you don't?

Correct, so TGA is probably not something a theme player will ignore.

However, ignoring the OD that was also played = good times!

This isn't any different than other BFCs that change the effects of die rolls. For example, from nbperp's thread over on the WK forums:

3s and 11s would be normal rolls for you.

So, extend that same logic to Great Arena and you'd be exactly right
