Unus the Untouchable has an SP that says he can use Super Sense and Impervious. According to the rules, he can only USE these powers, he does not actually have them. An SP cannot be used to meet a prereq for a feat. But he does have Telekenisis. The Force field Feat says to choose a character that does not have a damage reducing power. One of the prereqs for forcefield is TK. So, can i use force field on Unus? He gets hit for 5. He misses Super Sense. He then misses Impervious. Can i reduce the damage by one for toughness, then by two for imperv (or the other way around?). Just wonderin....

Good question, but I would say that no, you cannot. While he doesn't have impervious, he does still have a power that reduces damage.
I don't have the card on hand, but does it specify the damage reducing powers (toughness, invul and imp) or just that you can't have a power that reduces damage taken?

Choose a character without a power that reduces damage.
With Unus and his ability to use SS or Impervious, I assume you'll have to determine on an attack by attack basis if he will be using SS or Impervious. He's not going to get to use both powers at once. Remember when translating WizKids to English, "and" typically means "or". However, Unus has a damage reducing power - Invulnerable - so I don't think he meets the requirement of the feat to begin with.

Actually Unus can use both. When he is targetting by an attack he can use Super Senses, and when he is dealt damage he can use impervious, so both should kick in, with super senses hitting first.
But his special power says he can USE it, and we all know the difference between USING it and HAVING it. he cant use shellhead with his SP because he doesnt HAVE Invuln. He doesnt HAVE a damage reducing SP, he can only USE one.

Actually, they do work together.
SS is used to avoid damage, IM is used IF the SS fails for the possibility to reduce that damage to 0.
By the description on the PAC they can be used to resolve he same action.
That being said, you are correct that his SP is a "damage reducing power" since he can use IM.
the invuln doesnt come into play untill he loses TK anyways, so the feat wouldnt be in play at that time
But the point is, to use Force Field, the character cannot have a damage reducer anywhere on their dial at all, ever. One click of toughness somewhere on the dial is enough to fail to meet the requirements of the feat.
Why on earth would Unus be the only one to get a favorable "and" ruling? I'm betting the errata will indicate that once again "and" means "or".
Actually I believe that it has always been said that special powers that grant X, Y and Z power can be used together as long as they match up. Think of it as if the character had those powers all on different slots.
