i have quite the plethora of figures, and im most definatly using galactus (1200)

so i need help with the last 300


and does galactus get affected by BFC's?

-Shellhead 10
to make it thematic and an even 1500. as for BFC's im pretty sure that they affect him but you might want that seconded to be sure

im lookin at surfer's dial, and the one from avengers too, and it seems that the avenger one is cheaper, and with front loaded HSS could be more effective...
i dont play the surfer (or against him) so im not too savvy on how good he is

i would have gone with thanos if he had move and attack powers....

avenger's surfer has some advantages but i dont think they help you in this team. he frees up some point but you dont really need them, has a generally lower attack and 1 click less than supernova, and doesn't have damage reducers throughout his dial. i also think that the upfront running shot is better because you have the same swing on both characters (16) but if you have to use your max swing there is a better chance that your opponent isnt gonna be able to reach the one that shot from 10 squares away instead of 5. but if you like the avengers surfer just put more cardboard on him

im going to do what you suggesxted, that seems like the best choice.

i play for fun, if i wasnt going for that i would play a F4 ATA team loaded to the brink wwith the most powerful wildccards, with JL batman and a thunderbolted scarletmwith (ultimates)

Play 600 point Galactus and 900 Foom. that is if youve got em. That team would intimidate everyone in the room.

Go with Surfer the vet he is a beast if played correctly.

i played the vet surfer as suggested above, and with him along with my galactus, i cleaned up
my first tournament win
needless to say i was excited
but i felt cheap because galactus was soo powerful, i took out spectre in 10 minutes
second round i took out the most powerful KC guys (minus magog) and gladiator no problem
3rd ground i took on only a galctus and crushed him in 5 miutes.

i felt like it was cheese (and i dont like that) so it didnt really seem like a win...

It was 1500 points UNRESTRICTED and you faced another Galactus and a Spectre? Why does it feel cheesy? I mean it shouldve been no problem to take out any standard figure (basically dont roll snake eyes) but you also took out other big figs. Sounds like a fair fight to me.
