He's coming back to DC (and to comics) with two books.
It's weird... but I'm going to have to read Superman for the first time in my life.
And they've just revealed he will be starting a new book with a familiar name: Justice League. So I'm going to have to read JL for the first time in my life as well.
I simply cannot wait to read these.

Yes, I'm stoked by this news as well; Congorilla, Batwoman, & Mikaal!!! I hope they come up with a better name for the series than "Justice League", though.
Who will be writing "of America" if not Robinson? McDuffie's doing all right, but he seems more like a place-holder than the actual permanent writer.
Christian Bale: "How much more Batman can you get? The answer is: none. None more Batman."
Ok, not to dull the enthusiasm, but who exactly is James Robinson?
He wrote Starman, in my opinion the best Superhero book to come out of the 90's.
I believe they are reprinting them, so I recomend getting the series.
(From the library at least, if not to buy...)
He was also (partly through Starman, partly through co-writing their own series) quite instrumental in bringing the JSA back to prominence within the DCU.

On top of some really great comics, of which I'd be happy to talk more about at your request, he also wrote the screen adaptation of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
While certainly a vast distance from the source material, I always liked the movie as something really fun and entertaining.

I'm pretty excited about the line up for his Justice League book. A nice mix of established characters, characters who deserve a chance in the spot light, and the slightly odd ball characters that Robinson is really great with. Definetly gonna pick it up.

Thanks, gents. Having read many of jackstar's posts before, I was pretty sure he had something to do with Starman. And anybody who had something to do with bringing the JSA back is always good in my book. And I've only heard good things about the Starman series, so I guess I will need to keep my eyes open for when these are rereleased.
And for what it's worth, jackstar7, I enjoyed LEG as well. Certainly not the source material, but not bad in and of itself. We just better hope Moore doesn't visit the Realms or we could be under a curse soon.
However, could someone fill me in on this Justice League thing he is going to be doing? I haven't actually heard anything about it. Do we know the full line-up? Or any of it?
